⚠️ WARNING: Online ear wax gadgets and cotton buds can cause serious damage! 👂❌
We recently treated a patient who tried heavily advertised online ear cleaners. Not only did they fail to remove the wax, but a cotton bud also became dangerously lodged against their eardrum.
Thankfully, we safely removed the wax and the foreign object using professional microsuction—but it could have been much worse.
