Your hip pain might actually start at your feet… 👣

It sounds strange, doesn’t it?

But your body isn’t made up of lots of completely separate parts. It’s a connected system of muscles, fascia, joints and tissues — and tension in one area can influence how another area moves.

Think about your feet. They are your foundation.

When the tissues around the soles of your feet, calves and ankles become tight or restricted, it can change the way you walk and move. Your body may then compensate further up the chain — through the knees, hamstrings, pelvis and eventually the hips.

This is where the myofascial lines become really interesting.

The fascia forms interconnected pathways throughout the body. One of these pathways, often called the Superficial Back Line, runs from the underside of the foot, through the calf and hamstrings, towards the pelvis and up the back of the body.

So when you come to me with hip tension, I don’t necessarily want to only work on your hip.

I want to look at the bigger picture. 👣

How are your feet moving?
How tight are your calves?
What is happening through your hamstrings?
How is your pelvis moving?
And how is your body compensating?

Your hip pain may not be caused by your feet — there can be many reasons for pain — but sometimes the area that hurts isn’t the only area that needs attention.

✨ Your body is connected. Your treatment should be too.

This is why I take a holistic, whole-body approach to massage — looking beyond the obvious and helping your body release tension where it may be holding it.

Sometimes, the key to understanding one area of the body is to look somewhere completely different. 💜

My purpose and the work I do has always been about helping people feel better — and reminding them that they have the power to take ownership of their own wellbeing. ❤️

Early in my career, I made the decision to look at the body as a whole due to my own health journey and how I wanted to feel better , I felt lost in where I was supposed to be . I believe everything is connected — our mind, body and soul — and when we create space to pause, listen and reconnect with ourselves, beautiful changes can begin to happen.

That’s why we’ve created The Power of You.

A beautiful 6-week journey beginning this September, created for you if you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or simply struggling to find time for you.

Over six weeks, we’ll create space to pause, reflect, reconnect and explore what you truly need for this next chapter of your wellbeing.

Sending love and healing

🦶 Struggling with Plantar Fasciitis? Massage may help ❤️

That painful first step in the morning… the ache through the heel… or discomfort when you’ve been standing or walking for a while.

Plantar fasciitis can be frustrating, especially when foot pain starts affecting your everyday life.

✨ How massage may help:

🦶 Relieve tension through the feet and calves
🦶 Improve circulation and support fluid movement
🦈 Reduce muscular tightness around the foot and lower leg
🦶 Encourage relaxation of the plantar fascia and surrounding tissues
🦶 Improve mobility and flexibility
🦶 Help reduce feelings of stiffness and discomfort
🦶 Support your body’s natural recovery process

Your feet carry you through life every single day — they deserve some care too. ❤️

Through massage and techniques such as myofascial release, I can work with the feet, calves and surrounding tissues to help release areas of tension and support better movement.

❤️LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE FOR PERIMENOPAUSE & MENOPAUSE ❤️

Going through perimenopause or menopause can leave you feeling like your body has changed overnight. Hormonal fluctuations can bring bloating, puffiness, fluid retention, heavy legs, tension, stress and a general feeling of not quite feeling like yourself. ❤️

lymphatic drainage massage can be a beautiful way to support your body during this transition.

👍Why ?

During perimenopause and menopause, hormone levels fluctuate and eventually change significantly. This can affect fluid balance, circulation, sleep, stress levels, digestion and how the body feels. Some women notice more puffiness, bloating or a feeling of heaviness.

🔥The benefits

Support healthy lymphatic fluid movement
Reduce the feeling of puffiness and fluid retention
Ease that heavy, sluggish feeling
Support relaxation and a calmer nervous system
Promote a deep sense of relaxation and wellbeing
Help you feel lighter and more comfortable in your body
Give you some much-needed time to slow down and reconnect with yourself

Your body is going through a huge transition, and it deserves support rather than criticism❤️

❤️ What Healing Means to Me ❤️

Healing, to me, began the moment I stopped looking outside of myself for answers and started looking within.

There was a time when I felt lost. My life wasn’t where I wanted it to be, and my body reflected that. I lived with constant bloating, inflammation, headaches, and a deep feeling that there had to be more to life.

After returning from Thailand, where I trained in Thai massage, I began seeing a healer. Rather than only looking at my physical symptoms, she encouraged me to explore how I was feeling emotionally. Through that journey, I discovered a deep loneliness and realised I was ready to open my heart and share my life with someone.

As I continued healing, I uncovered food intolerances and began changing the way I nourished my body. I also recognised emotional patterns and behaviours that were no longer serving me. Healing meant learning to forgive—not only other people, but also myself.

I’m still on that journey today, and I always will be. Healing isn’t a destination; it’s more like peeling the layers of an onion. With each layer comes greater understanding, growth, and compassion. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s simply becoming the best version of myself.

This journey has transformed the way I work as a holistic massage therapist. My aim isn’t just to massage muscles; it’s to create a safe, nurturing space where my clients can breathe deeply, let go, and reconnect with themselves.

I truly believe that when we feel safe enough to slow down, healing can begin—not just in the body, but in the mind and soul too. ❤️

Let’s talk about your digestive system and your Lympahtic system connection 🙌

Did you know that around 70% of your immune system is associated with your gut? Your digestive and lymphatic systems work closely together to support your overall health and wellbeing.

Your digestive system breaks down food and absorbs nutrients that your body needs to function.

Your lymphatic system helps maintain fluid balance, supports your immune system, and absorbs dietary fats from your intestines through tiny lymphatic vessels called lacteals.

When your digestion isn’t working efficiently, it can leave you feeling bloated, sluggish, and uncomfortable. Supporting healthy digestion, staying hydrated, eating a balanced diet, moving your body regularly, and getting enough sleep can all help your body function at its best.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage helps encourage healthy lymph flow and when I work your deep Lympahtic system within your gut , flow is so much better and more movement and balance ❤️

Your body is beautifully connected. When you nurture one system, you’re always supporting another.

Listen to your body.
Nourish it with kindness.
Give it the care it deserves.
