Yesterday we had a great afternoon in Newmarket learning all about Raising the Young Horse in today’s environment.

Some fascinating speakers, including Dr Joe Pagan from our partners at Kentucky equine research.

There is always something new to learn with horses, and it’s great to have up to date research to help our customers apply this in practical situations.

What a truly sad weekend for the equestrian world.

To be based at the end of the XC yesterday at Penrith, it’s the best feeling watching those cross the finish line, big smiles and hugs for their horses. One particular girl who completed her first novice, you could hear shouting I love you, I love you, I love you as as she jumped the final fence. For me that’s such a privilege to watch.

Now my thoughts go to the family and friends of those who didn’t cross the finish line this weekend. To the organisers, paramedics, air ambulance & the whole field who like myself yesterday felt shock, but today feel heartbroken 💔
