We are 35 this year, and we are making a book about the hospice’s history and the people who built it. It will include photographs from our archive, taken from about 1987 onwards — at fundraising events, at work, and around the hospice.
Most were in the local paper at the time, or in our annual reports and marketing materials. If you worked or volunteered here in those years, you may be in one of them. A small number of photographs show patients or their families, and we have only used those which were previously used in the press or official marketing materials. The photos span the last 37 years and we no longer have contact details for most of the people in these photographs, which is why we are asking this way.
If you would rather not be included, please tell us by Tuesday 8 September 2026 and we will take the photograph out. You do not need to give a reason. We are not able to show you the wider collection, or to discuss other people who appear in it. You will be asked to provide photographs of yourself, or those you wish to discuss, taken around the same period of time and colleagues will try to identify if you appear in any photographs.
