So far this week at Applebury, our residents have enjoyed a variety of activities. Helping us with a leaflet drop for our Summer Fête, relaxing to the beautiful sounds of Carys’ harp, taking part in fun games, G fitness session chair based exercises, enjoying some mindfulness colouring, sharing a few drinks at our pub, and a chilled afternoon watching a film together.

The end of another week at Applebury saw our residents helping with a leaflet drop for our Summer Fête, enjoying a fun chair-based exercise session with G Fitness, and finishing on a high with Clayton’s lively performance, which had everyone singing, dancing and smiling. It’s been another lovely week at Applebury! 💙

So far this week our residents have enjoyed a coffee morning with crosswords, an afternoon of bingo, singing and dancing with Scott Elvis, fun dice games, and creative collage arts and crafts sessions. A wonderful week filled with laughter, friendship, creativity and keeping minds and bodies active.

Another wonderful week at Applebury! Our residents have enjoyed a variety of activities to support their wellbeing, including chair-based exercise sessions with G Fitness and TM Active, group crosswords where everyone worked together to solve the clues, a lovely day trip to Herne Bay, relaxing in the garden with entertainment from Gary Taylor, the Cockney Knight, fun movement games, our monthly church service, and a little pampering for some well-deserved relaxation. A week full of laughter, friendship, and meaningful moments.

Another wonderful week at Applebury! ❤️

Our residents have enjoyed a fantastic range of activities to support their physical, social and emotional wellbeing. From chair-based exercise with G Fitness and TM Active, celebrating National Chocolate Day, bingo, and keeping minds active with our activity trolley, to enjoying Sophie singing, reminiscing, getting creative with arts and crafts, and finishing the week with a fun-filled Beatles day.

A week full of laughter, friendship and meaningful moments. 💙

Last week was filled with meaningful activities that supported our residents’ wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. 💙

Residents enjoyed chair-based exercise sessions with G Fitness and TM Active, a friendly game of giant Snakes and Ladders, movement games, strawberries and cream while watching Wimbledon, one-to-one and group activities with our activities trolley, and a relaxing pamper day to promote comfort and wellbeing.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful performance from Gary Taylor in the shaded garden, cooled off with paddling pools during the hot weather, and loved seeing how much our chicks have grown. We’ve also been busy with arts and crafts, before ending the week on a high with the ever-energetic Clayton, who had everyone singing and smiling. A lovely week all round! 🌼🎶🐥

Care Home Open Week – World Cup Theme ⚽🏆

What a busy and enjoyable week we’ve had! Residents took part in a fantastic range of activities, including visits from ZooLab, the Petticoats, children from Aylesford Primary School, and a wonderful performance by the Energize Choir.

We also enjoyed a football-themed pub afternoon, watched classic footballing moments, hosted the England vs Croatia match for residents, families and staff, and celebrated National Picnic Day with a lovely picnic lunch. The week ended with a fun five-a-side football match between staff members.

To top it all off, our lovely gentlemen residents were treated to a special celebration for Father’s Day.

A wonderful week full of fun, laughter and community spirit! 💙⚽
