🚲🌳 A Wonderful Day of Adventure at Greenan Manor Care Home 🌳🚲

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic day filled with fresh air, sightseeing, and special moments together at Greenan Manor Care Home!

The morning began with a ride on our wonderful Tri-Shaw bikes, giving residents the opportunity to get out and about, enjoy the local surroundings, and take in the fresh air 🚲

In the afternoon, a small group of residents enjoyed a trip to Wellington Square Gardens in Ayr, where they visited the impressive war memorial statues and spent time appreciating the history and beauty of the area 🌳🏛️✨

It was a lovely day filled with conversation, reminiscence, and opportunities to enjoy the community around us. Days like these create lasting memories and provide wonderful experiences for our residents ❤️

🐾 A Special Visit from Evie at Greenan Manor Care Home 🐾

We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor to Greenan Manor Care Home – Evie🐶❤️

Evie's visit brought plenty of smiles as residents enjoyed spending time with their four-legged guest. From gentle cuddles to lots of attention, she quickly became the centre of attention and brightened everyone's day 🐾✨

Animal visits are always a wonderful way to encourage conversation, create special moments, and bring a little extra joy to the home 😊💕

🎨🍓 Creativity and Sweet Treats at Greenan Manor Care Home 🍓🎨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day filled with creativity and delicious homemade treats at Greenan Manor Care Home!

The day began with a relaxing watercolour painting session, where residents expressed their artistic talents and created some beautiful pieces of artwork 🎨🖌️

Afterwards, it was time to get creative in the kitchen with some handmade strawberry tarts. From preparing the ingredients to admiring the finished creations, everyone had a fantastic time taking part.

Combining arts and crafts with baking made for a lovely day full of creativity, conversation, and plenty of smiles 😊

Well done to everyone involved - the paintings were beautiful, and the strawberry tarts looked absolutely delicious!

A joyful afternoon at Greenan Manor! ✨💃

We were treated to a wonderful visit from the Maybole Choir, bringing beautiful music and plenty of smiles to everyone

The afternoon didn’t stop there, we also enjoyed some fabulous cabaret-style dancing, with residents getting involved, clapping along, and enjoying the lively atmosphere 🌟

It was a truly uplifting experience, filled with music, movement, and shared moments of joy. Activities like these create such a positive buzz and bring everyone together

💃🧘‍♀️ Move & Groove Morning… and Scones in the Afternoon! 🍰🌼

It was a wonderfully active and creative day at Greenan Manor! Our residents started the morning with Move & Groove exercises, filling the room with energy, music and plenty of smiles 💛🎶

In the afternoon, things took a delicious turn as everyone rolled up their sleeves for a spot of scone making. The kitchen was full of lovely aromas, chatter and proud moments as trays of freshly baked treats came out of the oven 🍓👩‍🍳

A perfect balance of movement, creativity and tasty rewards — just the way we like it! ✨

🎨🌼 Arts & Crafts for Our Open Day! 🌼🎨

Our residents enjoyed a lovely arts and crafts painting session as we got creative in preparation for our upcoming Open Day! The room was full of colour, conversation and plenty of imagination as everyone worked on beautiful pieces to display around the home 💛✨

From bold brushstrokes to delicate details, each creation reflects the personality and talent of the residents who made them. It’s always wonderful to see confidence grow and smiles appear as artwork comes to life 🎨

A big thank you to our fantastic colleagues for supporting these meaningful moments and helping make our Open Day feel extra special.

🎉☀️ Open Day Fun at Greenan Manor! ☀️🎉

What a fantastic day we had at our Greenan Manor Open Day! The place was buzzing with laughter, friendly faces and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy 💛🌼

From the ever‑popular Soak the Manager (which caused plenty of giggles!) to our competitive Beat the Goalie challenge, there was no shortage of fun and friendly rivalry 🥫⚽

And of course, no summer celebration would be complete without a delicious BBQ — enjoyed by residents, families, colleagues and visitors alike 🍔🌭✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We loved welcoming our community and creating more wonderful memories together ❤️

🌸🌼 Flower Arranging Afternoon at Greenan Manor 🌼🌸

Our residents enjoyed a beautifully relaxing flower arranging afternoon, creating lovely displays to brighten up the dining tables throughout the home 💐✨

There were plenty of smiles, creativity and gentle conversation as everyone selected their favourite colours and blooms. It’s amazing how something so simple can bring so much joy, calm and connection 🌿

We’re looking forward to welcoming residents, families and friends to our Family Bingo Afternoon at Greenan Manor

Expect plenty of fun, great company and a little friendly competition, with prizes to be won, plus refreshments to enjoy ☕🍰

🌬️🌊 A Windy Morning at Girvan Beach! 🌊🌬️

Eileen, Jean, Shiela and Helen enjoyed a lovely brisk walk along Girvan front, joined by colleagues Natalie and Katie. Even with the wind blowing, spirits were high and the sea air made everything feel refreshing and full of energy 💛

After their walk, everyone settled down for a light picnic while watching the waves roll in — a simple, peaceful moment that brought plenty of smiles and good conversation 🌼🧺

There’s nothing quite like the coastline to lift the mood and start the day on a positive note!
