Hi Ladies,
With temperatures soaring during this heatwave, it’s important to remember that looking after your health comes before pushing through a workout.
Your body works much harder to regulate its temperature in hot weather, so now is the time to train smarter, not harder.
Here are a few simple ways to stay active safely:
☀️ Exercise during the coolest parts of the day – early morning or later in the evening.
💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day, not just before your workout.
👚 Wear light, breathable clothing to help your body stay cool.
🏃♀️ Adjust your workout intensity if needed. It’s okay to slow down, take extra breaks, or shorten your session.
🌳 Choose shaded routes or move your workout indoors where possible.
🚨 Most importantly, listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, unusually tired, or develop a headache, stop exercising immediately and cool down.
Remember, fitness is about consistency over time. Taking a lighter approach during a heatwave doesn’t mean you’re losing progress—it’s a smart way to protect your health and ensure you’re ready to keep moving when temperatures return to normal.
Stay safe, stay hydrated, and keep showing up for yourself in ways that support your body.
You’ve got this!
