Had a lovely day today working with spirit doing trance speaking at John Seery`s workshop, Trance - Allowing the next step.

There are moments in trance mediumship that are difficult to explain with ordinary words.

This photograph captures one of those moments for me — the stillness, the intensity, and the feeling of stepping beyond the everyday conscious mind.

Through my experience of trance speaking, I have learned to become quieter within myself and allow the process to unfold. It isn't about performing or trying to “be” someone else. For me, it is about surrendering the need to control every word, listening inwardly, and becoming a vessel through which communication can emerge.

The experience can be deeply humbling. There is a sense of being present, yet simultaneously allowing something beyond my usual conscious awareness to take the lead.

Trance mediumship has taught me patience, trust, discipline and, above all, respect for the process.

This image takes me back to that feeling — sitting in the presence of the unknown, allowing the light, the energy and the communication to unfold in its own time.

Whatever your beliefs, these experiences have been a meaningful part of my journey, and I remain grateful for every opportunity to learn from them. ✨

👻 Ouija Boards — What’s Your View?

Ouija boards… are they a useful paranormal tool, or something you’d rather leave well alone? 🤔

They’ve certainly earned their place in the paranormal world, and they’re one of those subjects that can divide opinion faster than Marmite! 😂 Some people swear by them, while others wouldn’t go anywhere near one.

Personally, I’m open to using a Ouija board as another method of attempting communication. In that sense, I see it alongside equipment such as EMF meters, REM pods, trigger objects, and even simply listening for unexplained knocks, taps and other sounds.

That said, I think respect and responsibility are essential. Whatever equipment you choose to use during an investigation, it should be approached with care, awareness and an understanding of what you’re doing. A Ouija board is no exception.

But enough about what I think… 👀
