Acknowledgement - James (Jimmy) Hooke.

The family of the late James (Jimmy) Hooke would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shown them such kindness, love and support following their recent sad loss.

Jimmy was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, and he will be deeply missed by so many. The family have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to them and are incredibly grateful to everyone who has taken the time to attend Jimmy’s funeral, send flowers, cards and messages, share memories, or simply be there for them when they needed it most.

A very special thank you goes to Pastor Trevor for such a comforting and meaningful service, and to the ambulance and police staff for the care and compassion they showed to Jimmy and his family. The family would also like to thank The Royal British Legion and Nico’s for providing the space, food and refreshments.

Lastly, the family would also like to say a very special and personal thank you to DJM Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. They truly cannot thank them enough for everything they have done. From the very first conversation, they were so kind, caring and understanding, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and, more importantly, that the family felt supported throughout such an incredibly difficult time. Their compassion, patience and genuine care made a very painful and emotional time that little bit easier. The family will always be grateful for the way they looked after Jimmy and for the kindness they showed to all of us. They really were brilliant from beginning to end.

There are simply too many people to thank individually, but please know that every message, every kind word, every visit and every gesture of support has meant more than you will ever know.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
