A huge thank you to everyone who supported our S.M.A.R.T minds Summer Event — from those cheering us on from their armchairs, to the lovely good wishes from people passing by, and of course, everyone who came along and took part. ❤️

Our summer event simply wouldn’t happen without your support and the amazing children and families who attend.

Watching the excitement on the children’s faces was truly priceless, from mastering walking on stilts, learning to work together and support one another, to having the confidence to try something completely new and experiment during messy play.

Every little achievement, every new skill and every moment of laughter is exactly why S.M.A.R.T minds exists. 💚

A HUGE thank you to every single person who helped make our summer events so special. Your support means more than you know. 🌟

📣 NO, YOU’RE NOT GOING CRAZY… I’VE CHANGED THE DATE

A little change to our S.M.A.R.T minds Summer Event Party! 🎉

We’ve had lots of people let us know that they’re already attending another event on Saturday, so I’ve decided to move our party to Sunday 6th September, 2pm–4pm.

After all, I wouldn’t want anyone to feel like they had to choose!💛

So, just to be absolutely clear…

We’re scaling back the messy play to make room for all the party fun, but there will still be craft and sensory activities so everyone has something they can enjoy. 🌈

And remember — there’s no pressure to take part in everything.Sing, play, create, explore or simply enjoy the party atmosphere. 💛

I hope this means more of our S.M.A.R.T minds families can join us and we can have a brilliant afternoon together! 🥳🌟

Today, out of respect for a lovely young woman who was an advocate and supporter of S.M.A.R.T Minds, we made the decision not to go ahead with today’s session.

She valued her community and had attended many sessions with her young relations, and always taking the time to have a chat and support what we do.

With the blessing of her family, we will continue tomorrow. We know that this is what she would have lovingly wanted, for the little ones to continue enjoying themselves, having fun and making happy memories.

Our thoughts are very much with her family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

We will also reschedule our party for another day.

🌈 Another fun-filled day at S.M.A.R.T Minds!🌈

Today we went on a letter hunt, working together to find the letters and then put them together to find the word. Then went to discover our mystery prize! 🔎🔤🏆

We got stuck into some wonderfully messy play wriggling worms, play jelly and a colourful ice mystery experiment 🪱🫧🧊 with plenty of laughter and curiosity along the way!

There was something for everyone, with tennis, croquet, football, crafting and keyring making, along with some lovely Evolve Credit Union colouring sheets. 🎾⚽🎨

But the best part? Watching the children experiment, problem-solve, laugh, encourage each other and work as a team. 💚

At S.M.A.R.T Minds, it's not just about the activities, it's about creating a space where children can explore, be themselves, build confidence and have fun together.🌟

Another brilliant day full of laughter, learning, creativity and teamwork!💚

Today’s the day!! We’re off for a full weekend of uke fun at the Belfast Ukulele Festival 🎶🎶 Looking forward to catching up with friends from Uke groups all over the UK and Ireland, competing in Saturday’s Battle Of The Uke Bands, and taking part in The Big Jam on Sunday. There’s still a few tickets left for tonight’s jam and tomorrow night’s Big Gig (both in the Mandela Hall)

Well, no thunderstorm appeared after all… ⛈️ but there were certainly plenty of little flashes of brilliance! ✨💡

From tots to tweens, we had colouring, puppet making, games, creativity and lots more. 🎨🧸🎭

So many wonderful ideas, imaginations and little personalities shining through. 💕 The best part? Watching them create, play, share ideas and simply enjoy being themselves.

No thunder needed when you have this much imagination lighting up the place! 🌟✨
