'The physiotherapy care that I'd want for my family, friends and myself.'

I can't really remember where I came across this idea but it's stuck with me over the years and for any young physios or any healthcare professionals it's a good principle to stick to. I've passed it on when talking to younger physios when the opportunity has come around. If you're ever in doubt putting yourself in someone's position and thinking, right if I had this problem what would I want?

If that's a young sportsperson worried about if they're going to miss a big match or need surgery or if it's an older person that's had a fall and is questioning whether they'll ever walk the same again. What would you want your physio to do in that position?

Six months. One ankle. One goal: return for championship. 🏑

From major ankle surgery to competitive hurling.

Following medial and lateral ligament reconstruction with ankle debridement, Daniel committed to every stage of the rehabilitation process. Mobility. Strength. Running. Change of direction. No shortcuts. Just commitment to the process.

Great to see him back doing what he loves.

Well done on putting in the hard work, it’s been a privilege to be part of the journey. 👏

Usually over the summer months classes can be a little quieter, so please check with your regular teacher for any changes to their schedule.

However, this also makes the summer the perfect time to start on your yoga or Pilates journey. With smaller classes, you will receive more attention from your teacher and give yourself the chance to become familiar with the equipment and sequencing.
