I am a Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counsellor and have been enjoying the privilege of counselling many clients in my private practice in Ballymena for the past eighteen years. I trained at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London. I also offer supervision to individuals and small groups of counsellors. I have been training counsellors for the past eleven years. This has included: Introduction to
Counselling courses in the community, Certificates in Counselling, University of Ulster Foundation Degree in Counselling, CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, CPCAB Level 6 Diploma in Counselling Supervision at Northern Regional College. Also, I have taught on the Advanced Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling at Queen's University. I have developed The Professional Counsellors Circle with a view to bring together counsellors, trained and in training, (in a circle!) to meet and advance professionally. I have a passion about the value of counselling as a profession and am eager to contribute to this by sharing the knowledge and expertise which I have gained over the years. For my autumn programme I decided to offer two and a half hour workshops with a particular focus on one topic with a limit of twelve participants per workshop. I invite you to browse my autumn programme and look forward to welcoming you to any workshops you wish to attend.
