⭐️ 10 YEARS SERVICE ⭐️

Congratulations to our Practice Nurse Siobhan Dan who has celebrated 10 years service at Ballymoney Family Practice. Siobhan started at the practice on 1st August 2016 and has been looking after the patients of the Practice and is trained in well woman checks, respiratory investigations, diabetes, vaccinations, amongst other specialist clinics. When Siobhan arrived she was instrumental in setting up and leading the on site INR testing which benefited the patients so that a one stop appointment enabled a test and instant result, a real success! Siobhan is a very experienced Nurse with 47 years experience and she is a very valued member of the team.

Siobhan is pictured with Dr David Johnston (GP Partner) receiving a token of appreciation for her hard word and dedication and she said that ‘the last 10 years have been a pleasure at the practice and all members of the team are fantastic to work with’

Well done Siobhan, here’s to the next 10 years! 🎉💕

Karina, our Practice Pharmacist officially signed up for the Antrim Coast Half Marathon to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation Northern Ireland! ❤️🏃‍♀️

Heart and circulatory diseases affect so many families across Northern Ireland every single day. The incredible work of BHF NI helps fund lifesaving research, supports people living with heart conditions, and gives hope to families when they need it most.

Karina is claiming that this is a mighty challenge but we don’t doubt her for a second! Training is officially underway, and every mile will be worth it.

If you’d like to support Karina and this amazing cause, she’d be so grateful for any donation, no matter how big or small. Please click the link in the comments . Every contribution helps make a difference. ❤️✨

🩼🩼 🩼 MEN B VACCINE. 🩼🩼🩼

Letters to those individuals born between 2 July 2007 & 1 July 2008 have been sent out inviting them to have a Men B vaccination.

As part of catch up it is also being offered to patients aged 25 and under who are attending Higher Education for the first time (proof will be required).

Men B is a bacterium that causes dangerous illnesses like meningitis and sepsis. The vaccine is designed to protect against the disease.

If you fall into either of these categories please contact reception where we can make an appointment for you to be vaccinated.
