New Resistance Training Class
WEDNESDAY 8.30 - 9.15am

Do you suffer with either Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis or Osteopenia.
If so come and join me for a new class specifically aimed for these conditions.
The aim of the class is to increase bone density and help you to achieve a stronger body and shape. The class will involve the use of Dumbbells and own body weight.
As you become stronger the resistance can be increase gradually.
Classes are block booking of 6 classes £45.
There are 6 spaces available.

Hi everyone

It is 8 weeks post surgery today 😃😃
Recovery is going well.

I am starting classes again from tomorrow Monday 6th July.
Timetable as follows.

Monday 6.15pm total body condition
Monday 7.30pm Pilates

Tuesday 6pm Pilates

Wednesday 9.30am Pilates
Wednesday 6.15pm Pilates

Thursday 5.15pm Yoga
Thursday 6.30pm Pilates

Saturday 9.30am total body condition

Classes are £45 for 6 sessions.

I intend to do what I can as safely and effectively as I can.

Hi everyone.

Hope this finds you all well, safe and happy.

Well I am 7 weeks post cervical spine surgery today.
Recovery is going well and I am doing as I am told (well mostly🤪🤪)

Had a scan of my neck last week with the consultant and all is healing well. Still sore at times and unfortunately I got an infection in my scar due to my body trying to reject the supposedly dissolving stitches 😪😪

Se the consultant again on 22nd July and hoping he will give me the heads up to start driving again.

I am intending to commence classes again at the studio from Monday 6th July.
Mostly verbally but I have been keeping up with balance work etc with my pilates.

I really hope for those who come to me that I will see you all then. I realise that july is holiday time for people also.

Sending all my love to you all and massive thanks for all the visits and messages and fabulous flowers and gifts. You are all super super special to me.

Hi all my lovely friends.

So my big operation is now over 😁😁
All went really well and the surgery done was more than anticipated which in the long term is excellent for me and hopefully being pain free and able to function again as normal as possible.

It is now just the recovery period which for those who know me well will be a challenge for me 🤣🤣

I am allowed to walk short distances and increase as the weeks progress. I have exercises from physio and I am doing vigilantly.

So onwards and upwards. And as my beautiful son has funded this surgery I will not jeopardise my recovery.

My review is in six weeks so hopefully with good news of when I will be able to return to teaching even if it has to be verbally first .

Thank you for all your get well wishes and personal messages you really make my heart smile as so much care and love has been sent.

I am not allowed to drive so if you are in my area and want to pop in for a brew please do.

Just also want to say that my beautiful Tom is really looking after me as is Alphie. That may change after another week of me climbing the walls 🤪🤪🤪 they may want to kill me 🤣🤣🤣

Hi everyone.

Hope this finds you all well.

I have some news hence the stone heart as it is with a heavy heart thst I write this.

I have been having trouble with my neck for years and it has now got to the stage where it is effecting some use of one of my arms. So to cut a very long story short I have to have cervical spine surgery.
Unfortunately the NHS Orthopedics actually discharged me saying there was nothing they could do for me.
I have had to go privately but I won't go into that.

My surgery is invasive and risky but it needs to be done. I will be having my operation on Sunday 10th May. 🙄

The recovery time is 12 weeks so unfortunately from Monday 12th May I will be unable to run my studio as normal.

I am pleading with those people who come to me to please have faith that I will be back hopefully mid July. Your support of the studio in the last 12 years has been amazing so I really hope you can support me now on this road of recovery. I will be back more determined than ever to help every one of you once again.

I will of course keep you all updated on my recovery progress.
