📢 MenB Vaccination Now Available to Book for Eligible Students
From 20 July 2026, participating community pharmacies will be offering the MenB (Meningococcal B) vaccination to:
✅ Year 13 students born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Students under 25 (born on or after 21 July 2001) who are starting university or residential further education for the first time in Autumn 2026
📅 The programme runs from 20 July 2026 to 31 March 2027.
Year 13 students can book now through the NHS National Booking Service, ahead of appointments becoming available from 20 July. Eligible students may receive an invitation via the NHS App, text message or letter, but you do not need to wait for an invitation to book.
🎓 If you're starting university or residential further education for the first time this autumn and are eligible, you can book directly with a participating community pharmacy from 20 July 2026. NHS invitations will not be sent to this group.
