This space is more than the place where I hold my circles as it holds a little piece of me. 🤍
I care about every detail here. Every instrument has its place. Every candle is lit with intention. Every blanket, every scent, every little object contributes to how this space feels and every voice that enters it matters.

Before a circle begins, I love those quiet moments of preparation - arranging the room, choosing the instruments, lighting the candles, creating warmth, making sure that when people walk through the door, they can slowly exhale and feel that they don't need to be anything other than themselves.

I want this to be a space where you can speak but where you can also choose silence; where you can sing loudly or barely whisper; where you can laugh, cry, listen, share or simply sit in the circle and be.
A space where every voice matters, but no voice is ever demanded.

There are cards here too and somehow, the one that is chosen so often seems to carry exactly the message that was needed in that moment. I still smile when that happens. Maybe it's intuition, synchronicity or we simply recognise the words we're finally ready to hear.
Whatever it is, I love witnessing it.

What makes this space so special to me is that I don't only create it for others bur this space holds me too.
I feel good here.
I breathe differently here.
I create here.
I sing here.
I sit in silence here.
It carries me through my own days, just as I hope it gently holds the people who enter it.
I love what I do.
Before there is a circle, a ceremony, a song or the first beat of the drum...there is the space that holds it all. 🤍
Welcome to my little temple.

A little availability update from me… 🤍
September and the first half of October are going to look a little busy at Sound’n’Soul.
My diary is already filling with private sessions and I also have some beautiful events, projects and collaborations coming up that I’m very excited to be part of. It means I’ll be spending a little more time away from my studio and my regular work over the next few weeks.

Because of this, my availability throughout September and the first half of October will be very limited, and I’ll return to my more regular diary from the second half of October.
Before then, I still have a few spaces available for private sessions:
15/9
29/9
30/9
2/10
13/10
If you’ve been thinking about booking some time with me, I’d recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later, as these will be the last available appointments for a while.

You can book a private 1:1 experience, come with someone you love for a private shared session, or arrange a small private group experience.
And if you’re an organisation, retreat, venue or fellow practitioner and would like to collaborate or bring Sound’n’Soul to your event, I’d also love to hear from you.

Then, from the second half of October, the doors will open a little wider again. 🤍
Until then, I’m following where this beautiful season is taking me… and I can’t wait to share some of it with you.

DM me to enquire or reserve one of the remaining dates.

Can music heal?

After eight years of working with sound, I think my answer is: not in the simple way we sometimes want the word “healing” to mean.
Music doesn't need to fix us to have a profound effect on us.

I've watched a single sound soften a room, a drumbeat bring people together, a song release emotions, a voice grow stronger when someone finally gave themselves permission to use it and a body begin to move when thinking was no longer enough.

I've experienced many of these things myself, too. This is why my work has gradually grown beyond simply playing gongs and singing bowls.

Sound. Rhythm. Voice. Movement. Silence.

Different doors leading us back into connection with ourselves. Miusic is changing how we meet what is here now and that, for me, can be a beautiful part of healing.

What does music do for you?

24/08/2026

I spent the weekend at a festival surrounded by beautiful people, music, laughter and so many wonderful moments.

But even when everything around you is beautiful, sometimes your nervous system simply needs less. Just a little space to breathe and come back to yourself.

That's why I was so grateful that the festival was held in such a beautiful natural setting. Whenever I felt I needed it, I could simply step away into the fields, the wild grass and the quiet and be with nature for a while.

I've always believed in the power of nature to bring us back to ourselves. It works for me, every time.

What helps you regulate when the world feels a little too much?

There is something ancient in gathering in a circle - presence, a drumbeat, a voice rising… and another answering.

Join me for an evening of song, sacred rhythm and connection, a space to open your voice, soften into the circle and feel the power of singing as one.

What if I told you that your voice carries more than words?

It carries traces of how you feel.
Your confidence - your hesitation.
Your joy - your fear.
The tension you hold.
The parts of yourself you allow to be heard…
and sometimes the parts you have learned to silence.

Listen closely to a voice. Sometimes it trembles, becomes small and quiet. Sometimes it struggles to take up space. Sometimes it hides behind laughter and sometimes it opens so fully...I know this because I have experienced it in my own voice.

For a long time, singing wasn't simply about whether I could sing but about whether I was willing to be heard. And there is a difference.

The beautiful thing is that our voice changes with us - as we soften, it can soften, as we become braver, it can become stronger, as we allow ourselves to take up more space, our voice may begin to do the same.

And usually the first step isn't making more sound but silence - silence in which you can finally hear yourself without judgement, in which nothing needs to be performed, fixed or forced.

Your voice is hidden deep inside you and waiting for your permission - to make a sound, to be imperfect, to take up space, to be heard.

This is one of the reasons voice and medicine songs have become such a meaningful part of the spaces I create.

I don't sing because I want to perform for you but because I know what it means to be afraid of your own voice and what can happen when you finally allow it to come through. 🤍

Next week, voice, medicine songs and sacred drumming will once again become part of our Cacao Ceremony.

18/08/2026

You don't come to a cacao ceremony just to drink cacao but for what happens when you finally slow down enough to feel - for the warmth of the cup in your hands, the circle, the silence between the sounds, the rhythm of the drum, the moment when voices begin to rise together.

One of my favourite parts of holding cacao ceremonies is singing. It took me a long time to find the courage to use my voice in front of others. That's exactly why singing during ceremony now feels so meaningful to me. I don't sing to perform but sing to create connection and encourage others to use they unique voices.

During those gatherings you listen, sometimes you hum. If you are open enough your own voice quietly joins mine. And sometimes you simply close your eyes and allow the sound to carry you. There is no right way to experience it.

Next week, I'll be opening the circle again for an evening of ceremonial cacao, sacred drumming, medicine songs and sound - a space to arrive exactly as you are.

Message me for details or to reserve your place.

Have you ever fallen asleep during a sound bath?
And did you wake up thinking you'd somehow “missed” it?

After 8 years of working with sound, I've learned not to define what a sound experience should look or feel like. Sometimes the deepest thing your body wants to do is simply rest.

Swipe through → and next time you fall asleep during a sound bath, you might see it a little differently.

14/08/2026

We often imagine that change arrives through one big decision, but most of the time, it doesn't. It happens quietly - in the thought you choose not to follow anymore, in the boundary you finally honour, in the moment you decide to rest instead of push, in the way you speak to yourself when nobody else is listening and in choosing what nourishes you and slowly releasing what doesn't.

One moment may seem insignificant but moments become patterns, patterns become ways of living and eventually, we look around and realise that our life has changed.

This is something I come back to often in my own journey and in the work I share through Sound'n'Soul.
Transformation doesn't always need to be dramatic.
Sometimes it begins with something almost invisible:
a different thought, a different choice, a different way of meeting yourself.
And then you choose it again tomorrow.
