βοΈ SUMMER SOLSTICE βοΈ
Today, the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky.
The longest day and the shortest night remind us of something simple, yet profound:
You were not born to hide. You were not born to dim your light.
In Slavic traditions, the Summer Solstice was a time of fire, song, dance and celebration. Our ancestors gathered around the flames to honour the abundance of the Earth and the light that lives within each of us.
Today, ask yourself:
β¨ Where am I still holding back? β¨ What part of myself am I hiding from the world? β¨ What is waiting to bloom if I stop being afraid?
The time for shrinking is over. This is a time for shining.
Not because to be seen, not to be admired, but simply to be fully yourself.
A Simple Solstice Ritual
This evening, light a candle or sit beside a fire. On a piece of paper, write: "I am ready to release..." and list everything that prevents you from shining your light.
On a second piece of paper, write: "This summer, I choose..." and write down what you wish to nourish with your energy, attention and love.
Safely burn the first paper.
Keep the second one somewhere visible and return to it throughout the summer.
May this Solstice remind you that just as the Sun does not apologise for its brilliance, neither should you.
May you trust your voice. May you honour your path. May you shine unapologetically.
Happy Summer Solstice. βοΈ
With love, Marta
