šŸ’™ Men’s Health Week: It Starts With You šŸ’™
This week is a reminder that looking after your health isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s one of the strongest things you can do.
šŸ‘Øā€āš•ļø Check in with yourself

When was your last GP visit?
Have you noticed any changes in your physical or mental health?

🧠 Mental health matters
It’s okay to not be okay. Talking to a friend, family member, or professional can make a huge difference.
šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø Small steps = big impact

Move your body daily
Eat nourishing foods
Prioritise sleep
Reduce stress where possible

šŸ¤ Look out for each other
A quick ā€œHow are you really doing?ā€ could mean more than you realise.

This Men’s Health Week, let’s break the silence, challenge the stigma, and encourage open conversations.

šŸ’¬ Start today: check in on yourself and someone else.

We have Age UK, Dementia Oxfordshire, Carers Oxfordshire, Move Together, Dogs4good, Oxfordshire Talking Therapies and Thrivewell coming along to share the support they can offer. There will also be delicious cakes and treats and a chance for you to sit and chat with other Carers and our Social Prescribers. All residents of Banbury are welcome. Please feel free to invite anyone you think it may be of a benefit to.
We look forward to seeing you there,

🌿 Mental Health Week is nearly here!
From 11–17 May, we’re celebrating movement, wellbeing and community.
If you fancy a gentle reset, join the free sessions at Spiceball on Saturday 16 May — yoga, spin, badminton, even an open‑lane swim.
A small step can make a big difference to how you feel. šŸ’œ
Let’s move together.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Be gentle with yourself. Be there for others. We rise by lifting each other.
