~ SUMMER ~
☀️ Summer can feel full of things to sort, places to be, and longer days full of activities calling for our attention. So, here’s a gentle reminder to take your time, breathe, and go slowly.
Making space for rest and reflection can help us savour what matters without feeling overstretched.
🧘🏻♀️Thursday evening yoga has now finished for this block, with a new 6-week block beginning mid-August. Through July, classes will be book-by-the-week, with no class on 16 July. If you’ve been thinking about trying a class, this is a lovely time to join.
💝 Tomorrow evening, Sunday, I’m offering an extended Restorative Yoga session - the last one until autumn. There are a couple of spaces left, and no yoga experience is needed.
👀 Full class details and booking links are in my bio or at www.yay4yoga.co.uk. All classes are at Deeside Wellbeing Collective CIC studio in Banchory.
🎓This week I attended my eldest daughter’s graduation, where the Dean of Glasgow University spoke about meeting life’s next steps with resilience, determination, integrity, and fairness. About the quiet power we all have to make a difference.
🤔 It stayed with me. As women, we hold so much for those around us, yet we don’t always allow ourselves time to rest and absorb the importance of that role
✍️ So, to borrow from words from author Nikki Banas whose words I often share in class: make time for you, my friend. Make time for you.
