Going to be honest with you…
The last few weeks, actually last few months have been all over the bloody place.
New baby. Moved house. Work has been mental.
Sleep has been a bloody nightmare at times.
Nutrition has been sporadic at times and a case of grabbing something quick.
Mornings where I’d planned to get in an early session but still up at 3am.
And look, I’m not saying this looking for bloody sympathy.
I’m saying it because I think there’s an illusion that online, that everyone has got everything dialled in all the time.
They’ve not.
Perfect training weeks with perfect training & recovery.
That’s not real life all the time.
Real life is having weeks where you’ve no time, energy or motivation to do any of this…
Yet, you still get something done.
The goal on weeks where life is a bit mad, isn’t to be absolutely on it.
It’s to do enough to stay in the game.
Show up even when everything’s against you.
And not beat yourself up when the week looks nothing like the plan.
Progress isn’t always linear.
Sometimes it’s just surviving the week and going again 👊🏻
