🌸A Very Special Birthday Celebration 🌸

To celebrate Mary's 90th birthday this coming weekend, Marys family surprised our residents to a beautiful mezmerising harp performance, played beautifully by Ruth.

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and some of us even sang along to a few of the songs. We all had a wonderful time celebrating a very special lady.

🍰☕Macmillan Coffee Morning! ☕🍰

We are delighted to announce that Bryansburn Care Home we will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning and we would love for you to join us!

Come along for a catch-up, a warm cuppa, and a delicious slice of cake (or two!). Every penny we raise will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support to help them continue their incredible work.

Let’s bring our community together for a wonderful cause!

Last week we enjoyed a bit of sunshine, plenty of singing, pampering, games, pet therapy and reminiscence, a little game of would you rather brought the photos out and Evelyn showed us a photo of her very first car 🚗 🎶☀️

My favourite part of last week was hearing a few of our ladies singing together the song " top of the world" by the carpenters ❤🎶🌎

✨ A Busy Day at Bryansburn ✨

Our residents have had a wonderful day being pampered by our hairdresser Amy, singing beautifully at our church service and admiring our very fluffy guest during pet therapy. 🐾💇‍♀️⛪️ 🎶

Good music, great company, and a little friendly competition this morning at Bryansburn! 🎳🎶

We had a wonderful morning playing table bowling, seeing our residents faces light up when they knock all the pins down is the absolute best part of the day. ❤

🎬 🎬 Lights, Camera, Memories!

Our Bryansburn residents stepped into the spotlight for the premiere of "Our Stories, Scene and Heard"—a short film starring themselves we filmed a few months ago.

From custom leaflets to Hollywood stars and a post-show singalong, it was a morning filled with joy.

Fun & Games at Bryansburn! ☕️⛳️

It has been a bit cooler than last week, so we spent more time enjoying our indoor activities. Although, that didn’t stop a few determined residents from slipping out to the garden with a hot coffee to get some lovely fresh air.

We also stayed active with some fantastic rounds of seated target golf. While some residents preferred playing with the target on the floor, others preferred playing on the table. Either way, it was still great fun for everyone and brought plenty of laughs, all while improving hand-eye coordination. Noel was especially pleased to be crowned the winner and hang up his well-deserved certificate! 🏌️‍♂️🏆

Everyone did so well and we already can't wait to get the next tournament going!
