🌦️❤️ AND THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR SUMMER PARTY! ❤️🌦️
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side today, but that certainly didn’t stop us from having the bestest time! 🥰🎉 We brought the party indoors, and what a fantastic afternoon it turned out to be!
I have a lot of thank-yous to mention, so apologies for the long post, but every single one is truly deserved. ❤️
Firstly, I would like to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to all the amazing people who so kindly donated the wonderful vouchers and prizes. Your kindness and generosity mean more than you will ever know, and I will be forever grateful. ❤️
A huge thank you to Sonia, who kindly made all the delicious homemade treats for us. They went down an absolute treat! 🧁🍰🍪 A massive thank you to you, Sonia, for all your hard work and for helping make our cake stall such a success. 🩷
Thank you to Mark and Liam for doing the BBQ once again. Your help was very much appreciated, and we couldn't have done it without you! 🔥🍔
To Stanley, who entertained us once again and had everyone singing along — a massive thank you! 🎶❤️ You always bring so much fun and laughter to our events.
To every single member of staff who helped make today possible, thank you for all your hard work. It was very much appreciated, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed. ❤️
A special thank you to Gail for kindly donating two absolutely gorgeous pictures, which were auctioned off today. I was very lucky to be one of the winners and will proudly have mine hanging in my living room. 🥰🖼️
And last but certainly not least, thank you to EVERYONE who donated, bought raffle tickets, supported our stalls, joined in and helped make today such a success. Without all of you, none of this would have been possible.
I am so incredibly proud and absolutely delighted to announce that TODAY WE RAISED AN AMAZING £850 FOR OUR RESIDENTS' FUND! 🎉❤️
I am honestly lost for words. The amount raised is truly outstanding, and I cannot thank each and every one of you enough. Your generosity and kindness have helped us raise money for the most important people of all — our residents. ❤️
From the very bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone — our staff, families, friends, supporters, donors and everyone who played a part in making today so special.
And to my wonderful manager Annie, thank you for always supporting everything we do, for believing in us, and for always rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in. Your support means so much. ❤️
Today was filled with laughter, singing, fun, friendship and wonderful memories — and even though the Northern Ireland weather tried its best to put a dampener on things, it didn't stop the Bramblewood party! 🌦️🎉

Our Summer Party is happening this Friday, 31st July at 1pm! 🥳
Just a wee update because, as we8 all know here in Northern Ireland, the weather can be so unpredictable! 🌦️🤣
But don't worry — the weather will NOT stop us from having our Summer Party! 🎉 If need be, we will simply move the party indoors and continue the fun! ❤️
And to make the day even sweeter, our very own Mary Berry — Sonia! 👩‍🍳🍰 — has kindly been busy making lots of gorgeous homemade goodies.
I have to say, Sonia is absolutely fantastic, and her treats taste gorgeous! 😋❤️

Today was all about catching up after being away on annual leave. ❤️
I spent time doing my wee room visits and catching up with our residents in the lounge, and honestly, I missed them so much! 🥰 There’s nothing quite like walking back in and hearing, “I missed you.” Those few little words really do make you feel like you’re doing something right. ❤️
I then went around handing out some wee treats, only for one of our residents to say, “Here, do me a favour… can you go out and water those plants?” 🤣🌱 He even had the water bottle filled and ready for me — a job he was obviously planning to do himself… that was until he got tore into the bag of popcorn I had just given him! 😂🍿 There he was, feet up, enjoying his popcorn while I was out watering the plants! 🤣
Honestly, there is never a day the same, but every single day brings new memories, more smiles and plenty of laughter. ❤️
Sometimes all our residents want is a conversation, a wee laugh, a chat, a friendly face popping their head around the door and simply knowing that someone is there. 🥰
It’s the little things that mean so much. And for me, being back today reminded me just how much I love what I do and how much these special people mean to me. ❤️🏡✨
