💪 Shoulder pain affecting your daily life?

If you're struggling with persistent shoulder pain, a shoulder cortisone injection may help reduce inflammation, ease pain and improve your movement. 🙌

Shoulder cortisone injections can be beneficial for a range of conditions, including:

✅ Shoulder impingement
✅ Shoulder bursitis
✅ Rotator cuff problems
✅ Tendinopathy
✅ Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
✅ Shoulder arthritis

💉 How does it work?
Cortisone is a powerful anti-inflammatory medication. When injected into the affected area, it helps reduce inflammation, relieving pain and improving shoulder function. This can make everyday activities more comfortable and help you get the most out of your rehabilitation or physiotherapy. 🤸

👨‍⚕️ At our doctor-led joint injection clinic, every patient receives a thorough assessment to ensure an injection is the most appropriate treatment for their condition. Our goal is to reduce pain, restore movement and help you get back to doing the things you love. ❤️

🦵 Knee pain doesn't just affect your knee – it can affect your whole life.

😣 For many people, every step becomes a reminder of the pain. Climbing the stairs, walking the dog, getting up from a chair, playing with your grandchildren, or even enjoying a trip to the shops can become difficult and exhausting.

💉 If knee pain is limiting your daily life, a knee joint injection may help.

Joint injections can reduce inflammation and ease pain, helping you move more comfortably and get back to the activities you enjoy. They are commonly used for conditions such as osteoarthritis and other inflammatory joint problems, following an appropriate medical assessment.

👨‍⚕️ At our clinic, every injection is carried out by an experienced doctor, ensuring you receive a thorough assessment, expert advice, and treatment tailored to your individual needs.

You don't have to accept knee pain as "just part of getting older." If you're struggling with persistent knee pain, we're here to discuss your options and help you find the most appropriate treatment.

✈️ The Most Common Travel Questions We Hear at Our Doctor-Led Travel Clinic

Planning a trip? These are some of the questions we get asked most often by our patients:

🌍 "Do I need travel vaccines for my destination?"
It depends on where you're going, how long you're staying, and what you'll be doing. We provide personalised travel health advice based on your itinerary.

💉 "When should I book my travel appointment?"
Ideally, 6-8 weeks before you travel. However, if your trip is sooner, don't worry - we can often still help.

🦟 "Do I need malaria tablets?"
Some destinations require malaria prevention, while others don't. We'll assess your individual risk and recommend the most appropriate option.

💊 "Can I travel with my regular medications?"
Yes - but it's important to plan ahead. Some countries have restrictions on certain medications, and some airlines or border authorities may ask for proof that the medication has been prescribed to you. Always keep medicines in their original packaging and carry any supporting documentation if required.

🍽️ "Is it safe to eat the food and drink the water?"
Food and water safety varies between destinations. Simple precautions, such as drinking safe or bottled water, eating freshly cooked food, and practising good hand hygiene, can significantly reduce your risk of travellers' diarrhoea and other illnesses.

🤒 "What should I pack in a travel health kit?"
From insect repellent and sunscreen to medicines for common travel illnesses, we'll help you pack the essentials for a healthier trip.

👨‍⚕️ At our doctor-led travel clinic we offer expert travel health advice, travel vaccinations, malaria prevention, and personalised recommendations to help you travel safely and confidently.

📅 If you're planning your next adventure, book your travel consultation early and let us help you prepare.

🌟Staying mobile as we get older is about so much more than exercise. It helps us keep our independence, confidence, balance, and helps prevent falls all while keeping us healthy.

🌟 A short walk, gentle stretches, gardening, dancing in the kitchen, or simply getting up and moving regularly can all make a difference. Movement supports strength, flexibility, mood, and everyday tasks such as climbing stairs,
carrying shopping, or playing with grandchildren.

🌟It doesn’t have to be fast or perfect—every bit of movement counts. Keep moving in ways that feel safe, enjoyable, and right for you. Don’t be scared to move but be consistent with a little bit of something everyday.

🌟If you need any advice or treatment for niggling pain that’s stopping you from being active we are here to help. Choose one small movement you can do today—whether that’s a 5-minute walk, a few gentle stretches, or standing up and marching on the spot while waiting for the kettle to boil.
