🦴 Our Doctor-Led Joint Injection Clinic launches on Monday 11th August – appointments available

If joint pain is affecting your daily activities, our new Doctor-Led Joint Injection Clinic may be able to help.

Led by Dr Daniel Hayes and Dr Patrina Bell, experienced GPs with a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine, the clinic provides comprehensive assessment and where clinically appropriate, joint injection (cortisone) treatment as part of an individual care plan.

📅 Our first clinic is on Monday 11th August and we currently have appointments available.

We offer assessment and where appropriate, joint injections for:

• Shoulder pain (including frozen shoulder and arthritis)
• Knee osteoarthritis
• Tennis elbow and golfer's elbow
• Trigger finger and trigger thumb
• Thumb base arthritis
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• De Quervain's tenosynovitis
• Hip pain (greater trochanteric pain syndrome)
• Selected wrist, ankle and other joint conditions, following assessment.

Two ways to access the clinic:
✔ Healthcare Professional Referral – If you've been referred by your GP, physiotherapist or another healthcare professional, we're happy to see you.
✔ Self-Referral – You don't need a referral to book. If you're unsure whether a joint injection is right for you, our doctors can assess your symptoms and discuss the most appropriate treatment options.

📋 Every patient receives an individual assessment, and joint injections are only recommended where they are clinically appropriate.

Planning a trip? These are some of the questions we get asked most often by our patients:

🌍 "Do I need travel vaccines for my destination?"
It depends on where you're going, how long you're staying, and what you'll be doing. We provide personalised travel health advice based on your itinerary.
