We turned back the clock for our 50s themed party! 🎶💃

Everyone dressed for the occasion, with our gentlemen sporting their Peaky Blinders-style caps and our lovely ladies looking the part in their scarves and feathered fans. 🪭

Jeanette had also been gifted a wonderful collection of 50s records, which provided the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon. Everyone loved listening to the music and enjoying a little nostalgia together. ☺️

A very well-deserved moment of appreciation for Praison! 💙👏

This month, we’re recognising Praison for the kindness, thoughtfulness and dedication he brings to our home each day. Our residents absolutely adore him, and he is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure they feel cared for and supported.

Praison is a much-valued member of our team, and we feel very lucky to have him with us.

An afternoon tea with plenty to taste! ☕🍰

Our residents had a lovely time sampling all the goodies from our baking class, including sweet upside-down pineapple cake, ginger and lemon cake, savoury mini chicken tarts and plenty more.

There was an extra treat too, as everyone got to try the Turkish delights Jeanette brought back from her holiday… they went down a treat! 🩷

Julie celebrated her 64th birthday surrounded by all her friends here at Ailsa. She had one very special birthday request, a dinosaur cake, and Jeanette made sure to surprise her with a fantastic homemade creation! 🦖🎂

Our ladies enjoyed a well-deserved pamper session with Toni, leaving with fresh hair and plenty of smiles. Toni's visits are always something to look forward to, with lots of chat, laughter and the chance to catch up while being spoiled. 🩷

Ready, set, go! 🏅🎉

We held our very own Sports Day, with residents getting involved in a pillow race, ball chuck, parachute games and volleyball. There was plenty of friendly competition and lots of laughs throughout the afternoon!

After all the action, everyone settled down for a well-earned cuppa and a chat together. ☺️

Soaking up the sunshine! ☀️💛

We've been making the most of the recent warm, sunny weather by spending lots of time together in our garden. 🪴

From afternoon tea and lunch in the sunshine to cooling off with ice creams and enjoying music outdoors, it's been wonderful to relax, chat and make the most of the beautiful days together. ☺️

Happy 98th Birthday, Caroline! 🎉☀️🎂

Caroline celebrated her 98th birthday surrounded by her friends here at Ailsa, enjoying the beautiful sunshine in the garden. We marked the occasion with a fabulous BBQ, making the most of the warm weather together, before cooling down with ice cream lollies to finish the afternoon.
