Fantastic few days spent with some of our staff in the Belluno area of North-East Italy.

Its taken me 35 years to visit the home of most of the world’s quality eyewear production - think of a major label and they are probably produced by the 14000 people employed in the 2 valleys of Cadore/Longarone and from 1961 Agordo where Luxottica started and still very much remain (where most of your RayBans come from).

Beautiful place - the Winter Olympics were at the top of the valley 2 months ago in Cortina - and also the home of Prosecco which we managed to sample at Guia a bit further down the hills.

Great to see sunshine in Bangor.

And a wee stroll down Main Street and High Street to get a photo for my bus pass (😳🙄), a new battery for my watch and some organic salmon and a chicken in McKeowns for lunch.
