NEWS! I am starting a new Mat-based community class in Menstrie.

Tuesdays at 215pm - 3pm
- Starts from 1st September 2026
- Dumyat Community Centre
£9 per class
Bookings only please.

For all levels and beginners especially
welcome.

You'll need a mat and a stretchy band - and I'l have some to borrow.

This gentle and effective class aims to introduce people to the benefits of Pilates, for building strength, increasing flexibility and improving balance ... and the way I like to teach it.

Holiday time!
It’s that time of year again - where social media gets tucked up in bed, and I break away for a month or so.

The Pilates Studio continues without me, albeit with a reduced timetable by the other teachers - and you can reach them through the website. Www.improvewithpilates.com

Mat Pilates returns on Thursday 6th August - I’m around until lunchtime Tuesday 23rd June, if you’d like to book in. Otherwise, everything is paused for some nourishing rest until 4th August.

Would suit complete beginners and or injuries/rehab/aches and pains/stiffness etc… or maybe you prefer a more gentle introduction.

We start slow and build skill.

It’s a lovely time of year at The Pilates Studio - light, blossom and,on a clear day, a glimpse of the Ochils.

A harmony of a video - which I should have kept running longer… as I’m backing away from the window I lumped into the end of the reformer, staggered and uprighted myself - in true core strength 🤣🤣 Sadly, did not capture it but the story may make you smile.

Have a good weekend. I’m away next week on a Floral Art course at Gartmore House - Arts & Crafts Holidays, so here’s hoping the April winds don’t blow everything away by the time I’m back.
