The morning appts will be triaged by a GP and allocated based on clinical urgency.

Did you know? Shared care is a partnership between a specialist and a GP.

Our latest Did You Know? graphic explains what shared care is and how it works.

In a shared care arrangement:
✔️ The specialist assesses the patient, starts treatment and stabilises the medication.
✔️ The GP may then take over prescribing and ongoing monitoring if they agree to do so.
✔️ The patient remains under the care of the specialist throughout.

Shared care arrangements are designed to support safe, effective patient care through clear clinical responsibilities.

** Update Friday 7th August **

We’re still experiencing IT network issues at our Renishaw branch site. NECS/BT Open reach are still investigating these Derbyshire wide issues.

Barlborough (our main site) is unaffected and open as normal, so please contact our Main site if you need us. Thanks for your understanding.

** Important notice**

We are currently experiencing IT issues at our Renishaw branch site (Thur 6 August - PM), the main system we use is down. This looks to be an area wide issue.

We will be relocating staff from our Renishaw branch site to our Main Barlborough site from 4-6:30pm.

Please bare this in mind when contacting/visiting the surgery.
