The end of a beautiful sauna and swimming weekend!

There were no Sunday evening sessions today because it’s our 2 year anniversary (❤️) so we celebrated with a sauna (obvs 🤣) and a delicious curry from Bengal Merchant. Totally recommend!
Sunday evenings will be back next week 😊

It’s been a fun packed weekend with friends old and new joining us, thank you so much for coming and for the chats 😊

Dyane Turner ran a brilliant (and really informative) cold water session. Well done to everyone who came, you were awesome and we hope you enjoy your cold water journey!!! 👏👏👏

We were joined by new sauna doggie, Stark, who was such a good boy and loved all the fuss 🐶

We’re always blessed to be completely surrounded by nature, but it’s always exciting to capture a dragonfly up close (I needed to fish it out the lake after it landed too heavily on the water and got its wings wet). Also added a cheeky video of a hummingbird moth we saw in the garden last night because it’s just so fluffy and cute! 😁

Happy days… ☺️

It’s the weekend and we’re looking forward to relaxing by the lake! 😁🙌

Sauna sessions are filling up pretty fast with very limited space on Saturday but some good availability on Sunday morning. There’s also swim only spaces available to book 😊

We have Dyane's Wild Dip & Swim Therapy with us at 10:30 tomorrow (Saturday) morning, running a session on enhancing your confidence in cold water and the wonderful benefits it brings.

This is a really good time of year to start your cold water journey, but this course is great whether you are new to it or more experienced.

The session is £20 and booking is essential so contact Dyane for more information.

🤩 THE SAUNA SPACES ARE NOW ALL SOLD OUT, BUT SWIM ONLY SPOTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE 🤩

We have a very special female only Sauna Sisterhood coming up next week! 😁

Next Wednesday is a partial eclipse of the sun and, whilst we won’t see totality, the sun will be around 90% covered so it’s going to be pretty special (as long as the pesky clouds don’t thwart it!)

The eclipse starts at 6:11pm and finishes at 8:02pm, with maximum coverage at 7:08, so we’ll be able to enjoy it throughout the sauna and swim sessions.

We’re really lucky that it’s happening right through our normal evening session! 😁🙌

There are a few spaces left at each hour, plus swim only spaces.

Really looking forward to Dyane’s session on Saturday 8th August 🙌

This is really exciting for lots of reasons.

1. We talk about the benefits of cold water a lot, but Dyane’s training will go through it thoroughly and carefully, covering the huge benefits but also the safety around cold water immersion.

2. It’s the perfect time to dip your toe in the water (pun intended 🤣). The water is warmer at this time of year (although still classed as cold water) so you can start or continue your journey as the temperature drops.

3. Being held by the water and in nature is a wonderful experience

4. And (probably the most important) Dyane is amazing! She is so passionate about being in the water and has supported so many of us on our journeys, advising us on the benefits, the joy and also the safety around cold water. She is our real life, fabulous hair flicking mermaid! 🧜🏻‍♀️

She holds the space so beautifully and you can relax (and, in my case, snooze) in complete tranquility. It’s our monthly reset.

Another super sauna weekend 😊

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at the sauna. We’ve had the best time and it’s been so lovely to see you all, chatting over a cuppa, bobbing about in the water watching the birds and having loads of fun. Plus, we have a new fabulous hair flicker with Nooshin demonstrating a perfect flick! 🙌😄

£30 for double sessions just book both time slots and stay in for 2 sessions if you prefer longer sauna sessions

🌕 Another amazing Full Moon Sauna at the lake! 🌕

This month we celebrated the Buck Moon 🦌

Named for the time of year when stags grow fresh antlers, the Buck Moon represents strength, renewal, and shedding old layers to make room for new growth, and it definitely felt very special last night.

Thank you so much to everyone who came 🥰

We enjoyed the heat of the sauna and swam under a beautiful evening sky.

We quietly set our intentions in the löyly, allowing the sauna spirit to gently take them away. Outside by the fire, we let go of the things that no longer serve us.

As always, it was brilliant to chat to everyone around the fire while we listened to music, sipped hot chocolate and ate toasted marshmallows.

We did manage to see the moon on the way home, and she was a beauty! 🌝

The next full moon is on Friday the 28th August (they shift days of the week because we always run them on the day of the full moon). It has started to book up, but spaces are still available.

Looking forward to September, the full moon is on Saturday the 26th. This is over half full, so spaces are going fast for this one (we’ll be getting lights out again for this one! 🥳)
