We were delighted to celebrate our lovely Wyn’s 102nd birthday alongside her son, Simon. 🎉🥂

Wyn loves living at Barnet Grange, and it was wonderful to celebrate such a special milestone together with cake, bubbles and plenty of smiles.

In her earlier years, Wyn served as a WREN Signaller in Portsmouth during the Normandy invasion, playing an important role in one of the most significant moments in history. It was a privilege to hear about her remarkable story and honour her incredible contribution.

Happy 102nd Birthday, Wyn! Here’s to an amazing life, wonderful memories and many more celebrations to come. 💐

📚✨ A Wonderful Afternoon Celebrating Our Resident Author! ✨📚

This afternoon we had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of our wonderful resident Robbie’s book, Noah’s Pact, here at his home, Barnet Grange.

Robbie gave a heartfelt speech, sharing the inspiration and background behind his book and what it has meant to him to see it published. We were also delighted to welcome Waterstones, who joined us to support the event.

Residents, families and guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon with delicious nibbles, wonderful entertainment and the opportunity to meet Robbie and have their copies signed.

It was especially lovely to hear Robbie thank Corrina, Nikki and Faye for helping to bring the afternoon together. It was a real privilege to celebrate such a special milestone with him.

Congratulations once again, Robbie, on the publication of Noah’s Pact. We are incredibly proud to have such a talented author as part of the Barnet Grange family. 📖💙✨

☀️🎉 What an incredible day at our Barnet Grange Summer Fete! 🎉☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday and helped make it such a fantastic afternoon. It was wonderful to see so many residents, families, friends and members of our local community coming together to enjoy the sunshine and create special memories.

From our amazing live entertainment, magician and acrobats to face painting, the bouncy castle, fun stalls, delicious food, ice cream and waffles, there really was something for everyone! Most importantly, it was the smiles, laughter and time spent together that made the day so special.

A big thank you to all of our colleagues, entertainers, volunteers and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you. 💛

If you've ever wondered what it was really like to work alongside some of the biggest names in music over the last four decades,’ Ask for the Wizard’ should be at the top of your reading list! 📚🧙‍♂️

Earlier this month, we were delighted to host the launch of ‘Ask for the Wizard’, the debut book by David Hockman, sharing stories from his extraordinary career working with the likes of Bob Geldof, Elton John and Bon Jovi. 🎶

The book launch was particularly special as all proceeds from sales will be donated to Alzheimer's Research UK, supporting a cause close to David’s heart. His wife, Sheila, who is a resident here at Barnet Grange, is living with Alzheimer’s disease, making this fundraising effort all the more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate David’s remarkable journey, enjoy an afternoon of music and memories, and support such an important cause. If you would like to purchase a copy of the book, it is available from Waterstones and Amazon.
