Polite notice:

If you know your car is leaking oil could you please park on the road just after the corner.

There are a few patches of oil on the drive and despite trying lots of things we can't get them off so unfortunately it looks a bit of a mess.

Also when parking, please can you just park on the tarmac drive and not on the paved path as the flag stones are wobbly.

Acupuncture is a wonderful therapy which I usually incorporate into a reflexology treatment although it can be booked as a stand alone treatment.

I qualified in Auricular Acupuncture (also known as Ear Acupuncture) back in 2016, and it has remained one of my favourite therapies to incorporate into my treatments.

Auricular acupuncture is a complete microsystem, which simply means that the entire body is represented on the ear. There are over 200 acupuncture points, consisting of both Chinese and French points, each corresponding to different areas, organs and systems within the body.

By stimulating specific points with tiny, sterile, single use acupuncture needles, auricular acupuncture aims to encourage the body's own natural healing processes by tonifying stagnant energy or sedating overactive energy known as Chi or Qi, to help restore balance. It can be used to support a wide range of wellbeing concerns, with treatments always tailored to the individual. I always use the same base points, one being called the Shenman, the other either Point Zero or the Sympathetic point, of which I then create a protocol specific to you.

It's a gentle yet incredibly effective therapy that never ceases to amaze me. If you've never experienced ear acupuncture before, you might be surprised by just how powerful such a small area of the body can be.
