The family of Tom Harold Peel have asked us to share his passing with you.

Harold 84 years passed away peacefully on Friday 7th August in Currergate Nursing home where he has been a resident after suffering a stroke & being diagnosed with bowel cancer which he fought for 2 years until the urge to see his mother was too strong. Harold was the much loved Son of the late Florence, Loving Brother to the late Edward and Uncle to Allan and Angela who will miss him dearly.
Harold who lived his whole life in Embsay was well know too many on his daily walks up Brackenley lane. He was a quite man who just got on with his job (his life) tending to his sheep.
The funeral service will take place on Monday 24th August at St Mary’s Church Greenside Kirk Lane, Embsay, BD23 6SE at 1.00pm followed by interment in St Mary’s Church Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Harold would be appreciated to Embsay with Eastby Village Institute . The family of Elizabeth Chapman have asked us to share her passing with you.

Elizabeth sadly passed away on Sunday 26th July aged 79 at Royal Blackburn hospital with her husband, daughter and son by her side. Loving wife of David. Proud mum of Joanne and Mark, Mother-in-law to Steven and Judith. Treasured Grandma of Isabelle, Amy and Elliot.
The funeral service will take place at Skipton Crematorium, Carlton Road, Skipton, BD23 3BT on Tuesday 18th August at 1.00pm.

The Family of Margaret Rundle have asked us to share her passing with you.

Margaret the sweetest lady ever passed away peacefully at The Grange care home in Colne, on Friday 26th June aged 100. Loving wife of the late Leslie. Lovely mum to Hazel and Howard and loving mum-in-law to Bryan. Proud Nanna of her beautiful granddaughters Laura and Hannah. Treasured Great Grandma 'Macmac' to Maisy, Henry, Rory and Violet and a dear friend to many.
The funeral service will take place on Monday 6th July 10.45am at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Bolland Street, Barnoldswick, BB18 5HA followed by The Committal at Skipton Crematorium, Carlton Road, Skipton, BD23 3BT at 12.00pm.

Mary McKelvey

The family of Mary McKelvey have asked us to share her passing with you.

Mary sadly passed away on Sunday 26th April aged 62 at home with her best friend and soul mate Harry by her side, a much loved Mum, Nanna, Sister, Aunt and great friend who will be greatly missed.
The funeral service will take place at St Mary le Ghyll Church, Ghyll Lane, Barnoldswick BB18 6JH on Friday 15th May at 1.30pm followed by interment in Ghyll Church Cemetery.

Harry Hodge (HH)

The family of Harry Hodge have asked us to share his passing with you.

Harry sadly passed away on Tuesday 31st March aged 94 at Dove Court Care Home Burnley with his family at his side. Beloved husband of June, loving Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad and a great friend to all, who will be sadly missed.
The funeral service will take place at Skipton Crematorium, Carlton Road, Skipton BD23 3BT on Friday 17th April at 1.00pm.
The funeral procession will leave Kelbrook Road at 12.25pm making their way through Barnoldswick town square for anyone who may wish to pay their respects who are unable to attend the funeral.
