🏃♂️ 500m run
🏋️♂️ 50m ball carry @ 35kg
🚣♂️ 500m row
🏃♂️ 500m run
🏋️♂️ 50 swing to overheads
🎿 500m ski
🏃♂️ 500m run
🚶♂️ 50m walking lunges
🚴♂️ 1,000m bike
🏃♂️ 500m run
🤸♂️ 25m burpee broad jumps
And no… it wasn’t easy 😂
Annoyingly had hypo halfway through the session, which definitely didn’t help, but that’s part of the challenge for me
I’m not going into this event next week expecting an impressive time. It’s my first functional fitness event…
I’m not doing a doubles event to make life easier.
I’m travelling down to London by myself, doing the event by myself and my only real goal is to complete it.
And honestly, that’s enough of an achievement for me.
Functional fitness doesn’t come naturally to me. I don’t find this stuff easy and, if I’m being completely honest, I don’t particularly enjoy it either.
But this is where the fitness industry is heading, and as a coach and gym owner, I want to lead from the front.
Even if I’m leading from the front slowly 😂
More importantly, I want to show the SHRED members what they’re capable of.
Because when you actually look at the workout, it’s not that different from what we do in our sessions.
The difference is having the balls to put yourself through it, turn up, get out your comfort zone and find out what you’re made of.
(I’m made of pretty s**t genes tbh but hey ho)
