As we get ready to celebrate our 50th birthday next month, we're looking back at the man who started it all.

This week's photo features our founder, Reg Vickers, alongside his wife, Dorothy. In 1976, Reg started the family business with a vision, plenty of hard work, and a commitment to serving the local community. Dorothy was by his side throughout the journey, supporting the business as it grew.

Fifty years on, we're proud that Allendale Building Supplies is still serving the community with the same values of quality, reliability, and friendly service that Reg built the business on.
