Devon Care & Living The alternative to residential care throughout North Devon 🏡 This is an alternative to a care home settings, with emphasis on creating choice and dignity.

Fremington Homes provides rented accommodation to elderly people with a domiciliary care company Hadley Care on site providing care. We differ from residential care homes in that we are small lodges/bungalows with capacity for 6 -9 tenants to rent rooms with en suite bathrooms and share the communal areas with like minded people. Rooms can be furnished or unfurnished so that you can make it “home

from home”, most of our lodges are purpose built, light and airy and all have lovely peaceful gardens.

Eyes down, look in! 🎉🔢💛

Clients and staff at Strawberry Fields Lodge came together to set up a fantastic game of bingo, complete with some great prizes up for grabs!

There was plenty of excitement, laughter, and friendly competition as everyone eagerly waited to call out “Bingo!” The activity brought everyone together for an afternoon of fun, socialising, and making wonderful memories.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the game and make it such an enjoyable event for all involved.

GOLF ⛳️💙

We had a lovely morning spent with Paul and Kevan, sharing stories, laughter, and plenty of golfing tips along the way!

They showed us the correct stance, how to hold a golf club, and by the end of the session, the balls were making it into the hole just as well as theirs — proving we had some very good teachers indeed! 🏌️‍♂️✨

Both Paul and Kevan spoke proudly about their love for golf, sharing memories of the courses they’ve played and their handicaps over the years. It was wonderful to see their passion and knowledge shine through while enjoying an activity they both truly love 🥰

We think a trip to the driving range may have to be next on the list!

Leanne spent some lovely one-to-one time with Mary, working together on a special “This Is Your Life” activity book. Throughout the morning, Mary shared memories from her childhood, younger adult years, and stories about her family 🩷

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and wonderful conversations as Mary reminisced and shared some fantastic stories 🥰 Moments like these are so important in supporting wellbeing, connection, and celebrating each person’s unique life journey.

Hadley Care staff, clients, and families came together to support Mental Health Awareness Week by taking part in Wear It Green on the 14th of May 💚

It was wonderful to see everyone joining together, dressed in green, helping to raise awareness and show support for mental health and wellbeing. The day was filled with positivity, conversation, and community spirit, reminding us all how important it is to support one another and talk openly about mental health.
