🚑 St John Ambulance at the North Devon Festival of Transport! 🚑

It was great to be at the North Devon Festival of Transport in Victoria Park, supporting the event with both community engagement and first aid cover.

Our team enjoyed meeting members of the community, chatting about first aid, sharing useful advice, and helping people learn more about the work of St John Ambulance. 💚

Alongside the engagement activities, our volunteers were on hand throughout the event to provide first aid support and help keep everyone safe while they enjoyed a fantastic day of transport, entertainment and community spirit.

A big thank you to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who stopped by to say hello! 👋

It was a pleasure to be at the North Devon Homes Customer Fayre on Friday , providing first aid advice, demonstrating lifesaving skills, and engaging with the local community.

A huge thank you to North Devon Homes for inviting St John Ambulance back once again. We always enjoy being part of such a fantastic event, meeting residents, answering questions, and helping to build confidence in first aid.

A fantastic day at the Bideford Soap Box Derby! 🏁🚑
Our St John Ambulance volunteers were proud to provide first aid cover throughout the event, helping to keep competitors and spectators safe while they enjoyed an action-packed day.
As well as being there to support the community with first aid, we were also busy fundraising. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, donated, or came to chat with our volunteers. Your generosity helps us continue providing life-saving first aid services and training in our local community.
Thank you to the organisers, participants, and everyone who made the day such a success. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

🩹🏡 Bring life-saving skills into your home with First Aid with Bertie! 🦡💚

St John Ambulance has launched First Aid with Bertie – a fun, home-led programme designed to help children aged 5–11 learn essential first aid skills through engaging activities, videos and educational packs. It’s a great way to build confidence while teaching children how to respond in everyday first aid situations.

For a regular donation of £9 a month, families receive six months of child-friendly resources, with a cuddly Bertie Badger arriving in month six as a reward for completing the programme. The monthly donation also helps support St John Ambulance’s life-saving work in communities across England.
