Had the absolute pleasure of seeing one of the babies from my baby reflexology and massage class today.

We were working on supportive techniques to help with an issue, where this adorable bundle hated being touched on her shoulders.

I firstly showed which reflexes to work on the feet and hands and how I would work them, dad then took a turn .

We then got to massage and using different touch and techniques went over the shoulders again me demonstrating and then dad using the same movements.

The baby loved it and was so much more receptive to her shoulders being massaged and it is my conclusion that the reflexology helped start the process of letting go of what was being held here and the massage supported it.

At the end of the session she did some fantastic stretches and mum reported a monster sleep which is very unusual.

Can’t wait to see them again next month, but looking forward to regular updates.

Just four days to go before we begin our fabulous course at Devon Antenatal Family Centre.

1st session focuses on getting to know each other and a gentle introduction into touch, pain management and teeth

2nd session is all about digestion, colic, wind and constipation are all dealt with here

3rd session is immune and respiratory support

4th session we focus on sleep and relaxation

5th session is where we introduce you to baby massage

Following the success of my last course, I am so happy that we are running a second course from the 7th May for 5 weeks.

This baby reflexology and massage class is going to be held at the amazing .

This course will last 5 weeks, each session is from 10.30-12.00 and will cover:

👣 How reflexology supports comfort and relaxation
👣 Techniques to help with different issues
👣 Calming routines
🤲 Massage techniques

🦶 5 guided lessons
🦶 Parent workbook
🦶 Teacher led demonstrations

The course is perfect for new parents, I have increased the age range for babies up to 9 months old. The techniques are empowering and easy to use - even on the busiest days and are designed to help you feel more confident and connected with your baby.

Today I had the honour of treating someone who is going through a cancer journey. It is always a privilege to be trusted by anyone, but when people are vulnerable and allow you to help try and alleviate symptoms and stress, that is really special.

The flowers were a thank you and were very unexpected and very welcome .
