Women who have suffered miscarriage, have unexplained infertility, are journeying through assisted conception or just generally struggling with their fertility problems, feel isolated, experience deep feelings of loss and profound sadness. My hands on therapies offer complete support for you in the way of aftercare and suitable bespoke advice with self care throughout your treatment time with me. Today feels like a very special day… 💜

After months of planning, creating and putting so much love into Star Bluestone, I can finally say that my online shop is LIVE!

Star Bluestone Aromatherapy collection was created as a loving tribute in memory of my beautiful Jessica, and every part of this journey has been about keeping her memory alive in a positive and meaningful way.

The charity element is so important because 10% of every sale is donated to Teenage Cancer Trust via Work for Good, so Jess’s legacy can help other young people who are fighting cancer, bringing the support they most need at an incredibly difficult time in their young lives.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and believed in me along the way. It has meant more than I can ever put into words.

So here it is… something created with love, from love, and very much for Jess.

Just hours to go now!

Packing up preview orders before the shop launch has been great. Seeing these finished packages ready to go makes me feel so grateful that you have supported my venture and the charity behind Star Bluestone Aromatherapy.

After months of quiet planning, pouring, and creating behind the scenes, Star Bluestone Aromatherapy officially goes live TOMORROW morning, Friday 28th August!

This debut collection is a deeply personal tribute to my beautiful late daughter, Jessica. To honour her legacy and keep her light burning bright, 10% of every single sale from our shop will be donated directly to the Teenage Cancer Trust via Work for Good.

A massive thank you to Max Barker for completely redoing the website, making it a place to find out more about Bowen Therapy and the work I do and also for making a special page, aswell as the shop, to tell the story of Star Bluestone and Jessica's legacy.

We had a lovely day at Dunster show, tasting our way through the amazing food tent!. The Monarch Liqueurs home of the Tamar Tipple stall easily had the best display, The Cherry Tree Preserves based in Martock had a great saucy selection of chutneys and jams! But what really stood out were the friendly smiles and high energy communication from the young men on the Ripe cheese stall, encouraging everyone to try all their cheeses. They only had a few triangles left, having sold out of so many by the end of the day!

The highlight of the day for me, happened in the craft tent, where I connected with a very special person and collaborating on a new, bespoke product for the Star Bluestone Aromatherapy collection!
I am keeping their identity and the product details a strict secret for now to keep it a surprise, but we will be working on it in the New Year to bring this magic to life for 2027!

And the highlight of the day for my lovely partner Richard? It was sampling the cider, rums, vodkas and gins of course!

AT LAST, we have an official opening date!
My Star Bluestone Aromatherapy collection online shop will be live on FRIDAY, 28th AUGUST 2026!

But right now, I want to give a massive, heartfelt thank you to Max Barker !

Max has been working tirelessly behind the scenes (in between refurbishing his own home, keeping a full-time job, and having a life himself! ) to completely transform my website and build my new online shop from scratch. He didn’t just build a website, he took the time to truly understand how I operate, turning it into a beautiful digital space that perfectly mirrors exactly how I work now.

Max has been so patient and understanding with me, encouraging me to open an online shop in the first place and then enthusiastically taking on the roll of totally overhauling my therapy site!
His support and kindness has meant so much.

This isn't just a shop launch for us; it’s a living tribute to my beautiful daughter Jessica and a way to give back to the amazing Teenage Cancer Trust
The charity element is so important to us because they showed such unconditional support to Jess and our family.

💜 INTRODUCING JESSIE'S GUIDING LIGHT 💜

When I first imagined creating a candle in Jessie's memory, I wanted it to be more than just a beautiful fragrance. I wanted it to capture a feeling... her warmth, her kindness, her light.

After so many wonderful name suggestions, Jessie's Guiding Light was chosen as your favourite, and I couldn't think of a more perfect name.
Thank you to everyone who voted.

This bespoke candle has been lovingly hand-poured by John and Misty at Lyn Candles Showroom & Studio using 100% soy wax and is vegan, cruelty-free, palm oil and beeswax free.

Inspired by the fragrances Jessie loved and wore, it features beautiful notes of pear, bergamot and amber, blended into a unique scent that will forever remain our little secret.

Presented in a stunning blush pink glass jar with a rose gold lid, it's designed to be treasured even after the candle has burned, becoming a keepsake to hold life's little treasures.

Every flicker is a reminder that love never fades, and that the brightest lights continue to guide us, even when we can no longer see them.

✨ Star Bluestone Aromatherapy competition winner has received her candle! ✨

I am so pleased to share that our competition winner has now received her bespoke Jessie's Guiding Light candle!

It was a pleasure to see you, Paula, and I hope it brings many moments of peace, comfort, and beautiful fragrance into your home.

I would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in helping me choose the name. I received so many thoughtful suggestions, and your support throughout the competition made the whole journey even more special.

Jessie's Guiding Light holds a very special place in our hearts, and we're so excited that we can now share it with you all. It made its first appearance at dog show on Sunday, so look out for my next post where I shall be showcasing the story behind this very special bespoke candle and highlighting what my chosen charity, Teenage Cancer Trust does in more detail......

🐾 Our first outdoor event... and what a lovely day it turned out to be!

On Saturday, my youngest daughter, Leala Jacobs , and I took Star Bluestone Aromatherapy to our very first outdoor event at the K9 Focus dog show which was held on Torrington Common, and what a wonderful experience it was.

The weather was kind to us too, not too hot, with a little cloud cover and just enough breeze to keep us laughing as we tried to stop the tablecloths from making a run for it!

It was lovely to meet so many visitors, chat about our aromatherapy products,including our chosen charity, and, of course, say hello to some gorgeous dogs.

One lovely customer visited our stall twice.
She came back ready to shop, and it was a joy watching her Star Bluestone Aromatherapy bag fill up with our therapeutic products and candles!
She also chose our new bespoke Jessie's Guiding Light candle, which I’ll be sharing more about in our next post as it's this very special candle is now available to purchase.

A huge thank you, too, to the lovely customer who left such a wonderful review after purchasing our Sweet Dreams neat essential oil blend and to the kind lady who just stopped to pop a donation into our charity collection box. Your support means so much.

Finally, thank you to all the amazing K9 Focus volunteers for making us feel so welcome. We had such a lovely day and are already looking forward to the Victorian Christmas Market held at Barnstaple Pannier Market in December after such a successful event there last year.

I would like to share a small but important update with everyone.

Over time, I’ve realised the pressure of constantly keeping up with social media, regular posting, and marketing every week on both Instagram and Facebook, has become something I need to step back from for my own balance and wellbeing.

My business is still here, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported me along the way. That support has never gone unnoticed.
Since the digital age, my business has been built through recommendations, my website, and Google profile searches, and that continues to grow and work very well for me.

I’m also very proud to soon be celebrating a decade of working from my home treatment room, and in 2028 I will be celebrating 40 years in business, something I honestly never imagined all those years ago.
Over the years, my business has evolved and adapted alongside society, and I’m grateful to have continued doing what I love throughout all those changes.

I am still taking on new clients and am fully available for contact through WhatsApp, my website, phone number, and email as normal.

Going forward, I’ll occasionally share reels, stories, updates, and posts if there’s important news, major announcements, or moments worth sharing with you all, just not as regularly as before.
