Boundaries are part of being healthy

We can discover our personal boundaries through reflection of the past and elements in life that have served us well before.

Boundaries often develop from the learnings we have made through previous mistakes. They may help us hold ourselves accountable for our actions in the future.

If a relationship or connection becomes negative and leaves damaging changes to your neurology and mental state, it's best to step away.

Space enables individuals to learn and grow. It also protects both ourselves and the other person. People learn at different speeds and the lessons are subjective.

Listen to your body, mind and spirit.

Rather than attempting to control or change another person's behaviour. Setting your own actions limits the consequences you will enact. We are thus able to return to a state of balance, calming the nervous system and avoiding burnout.

Developing clear perimeters and values of what is acceptable to you, as well as respecting the boundaries of others is healthy.

Expressing clear communication, creating space, or walking away, is not always easy.

Streamline relationships and connections that uplift, challenge healthily, support, nourish and bring positive learning.

Follow the light!
