We had a fabulous meeting this week with some of our international Care Professionals ahead of a very special event next week… Lakeland Care’s International Day! 🌎

We’re incredibly proud to have Care Professionals from different parts of the world as part of our Lakeland family, and next week we’ll be celebrating the cultures, food, music and traditions they bring with them.

Our team will be taking us on a little trip around the world, with staff proudly representing the Philippines 🇵🇭, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and Nigeria 🇳🇬.

International Day is all about coming together, learning from one another and celebrating the wonderful mix of people and cultures within our team – and we can’t wait! 💙

The Lakeland Care & Support Services Ltd team has been nominated for providing high-quality care to hundreds of local people across Barrow, Ulverston and Millom. Working 365 days a year, they help people remain safe, independent and connected in their own homes with compassionate, dignified and person-centred care.

Our Bruce has getting the miles in ahead of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this September, raising money for our friends at St Mary's Hospice!

Bruce will be joined by fellow Lakeland Care Care Professionals Craig and Nicola, along with Nathan, as they take on the challenge for a brilliant local cause.
