Katie Lee Chiropody & Podiatry is focused on providing a friendly and professional service to help with all your foot health needs. I qualified in 2010 and worked locally as an associate, before opening my own clinic in Barrowford in 2016. I am also happy to provide a mobile service for those unable to get to the clinic. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, (HCPC) which is

required by some private health companies and have completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry from University of Salford. I am also a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Treatments Available:
All patients are fully assessed at the first consultation, including taking a medical history. Routine treatments include:
Toe nail cutting and filing
Corn and hard skin removal
Reduction of thickened/nails
Treatment/advice Ingrowing toe nails
Treatment/advice for Verrucae

All of the above are followed by a relaxing application of foot emollient. Biomechanical Assessment:
Used to assess, diagnose and treat pain to the foot, ankle and lower leg. Orthotics - off the shelf or bespoke insoles based on your personal diagnosis/needs. I currently provide nail cutting and podiatry services to three local care homes and would always welcome the opportunity to discuss providing a service for others in this sector. Please be aware that from Monday 19th July I will continue to wear a face mask whilst carrying out all treatments.
Due to remaining high infection rates of COVID-19 and the amount of vulnerable patients that I see, I will be continuing to ask all patients to wear masks (unless exempt) whilst in clinic, to protect everyone as much possible.

• U P D A T E •

Following on from Boris Johnson’s announcement that England is once again in lockdown; I will be remaining OPEN as an essential medical service. The rules allow travel to attend medical appointments.

I will be able to offer the full range of Podiatry/Chiropody services including home visits.

Infection control procedures and PPE protocol will remain in place as they have done throughout.

Happy New Year everyone. I'm back in the swing of things tomorrow (4th Jan).
