Introducing…. 🥁
Kylo REN! A referral to us from The Hampshire Vet | 24/7 care for sclerosis of the right elbow and some supraspinatus changes in both front limbs, Kylo underwent his assessment and our team of veterinary physiotherapists carefully formulated his treatment plan.
At over 60kgs, this Great Dane softie attends targeted physiotherapy and underwater treadmill sessions to help promote comfort, increase range of movement and build his muscle mass to support his joints. This is hugely important in all size of dog, but bigger dogs have much more body mass to move around.
We treat dogs from tiny Chihuahuas to enormous Great Danes! 🐾

Let’s talk about prescriptive exercises…
Arguably one of the most important parts of physiotherapy. Exercises are prescribed to the individual, to target the areas most needed. This might be proprioception, core strength, limb loading, joint flexion, amongst many others. There are lots of variants to each exercise and these will be progressed as soon as your dog is ready.
