A little plea from a small business owner...

In the past few weeks, FIVE people have booked a FREE consultation with me and then simply not turned up.

I completely understand that life happens. Plans change. You might decide hypnotherapy isn't for you, or you simply don't feel ready. That's absolutely fine.

What isn't fine is not letting me know.

Every free consultation is reserved exclusively for you. I often stay late, rearrange my diary around paid sessions, and keep that time free because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore whether I can help them.

When someone doesn't attend without cancelling or contacting me, that's an appointment that could have been offered to somebody else who may be waiting for support.

The frustrating part is that cancelling couldn't be easier. Every confirmation email includes a link that allows you to cancel or reschedule your appointment in just a couple of clicks. No awkward phone call. No explanation needed. If you've changed your mind, that's completely okay...just let me know so someone else can benefit from that appointment.

As a small business, my time matters too.

If you have an appointment booked with me and your plans change, please use the link in your confirmation email or send me a quick message. It takes less than a minute, shows basic courtesy, and means I can offer that time to someone else who genuinely needs it.

Thank you to the many wonderful clients who do communicate, turn up, and value my time as much as I value theirs. I really do appreciate you ❤️

💚 Have you heard of the 'Let Them' theory?

It's a simple but powerful mindset shift.

✨ Let them judge.
✨ Let them say no.
✨ Let them have their opinions.
✨ Let them be who they choose to be.

Then... focus on you.

Many people spend so much energy worrying about what others think that they forget to prioritise their own wellbeing. Learning to let go of what you can't control can reduce stress, quieten overthinking and help you feel calmer and more confident.

As a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist, I often help clients who struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, low confidence and overthinking.

Hypnotherapy can help you develop healthier thinking patterns and focus your energy where it really matters.

Not for the first time, a client recently told me:

"I wish I'd done this years ago."

Not because hypnotherapy magically solved everything overnight, but because they discovered that lasting change often becomes easier when you stop fighting your mind and start working with it.

Many of us spend years struggling with:
