At the 2.5 week stage post Total Hip Replacement surgery, and I’m finding my strength again through my feet and legs.

As the consistent aches, pain and swelling continue to reduce, finding more load bearing with the crutches to assist is building confidence, balance and muscle activation.

Grounding into the pressure points under the big toes, across the ball of the feet, u see all toes and into equal heel weight is key. Imagine a triangle underneath your big toes, little toe and heel and connect with the ground.

The prosthetic implant site and the left leg thigh is still as expected swollen, so patience and taking things day to day is needed.

Being able to engage my atrophied, weak buttock due to the lower back now being able to correct an over curvature is liberating. So too, is being able to continue to straighten my leg after more than 2-years! 😩
