We had a great day at Meadowvale. Lots of fun, games and laughter. We were also watching movies and had a few Talks with some residents about everything and all. ❤️

In the morning we played some snake and ladders, had some nice 1-2-1s chats. Then we played some table football which got the residents into the competitive spirit then all the residents did some karaoke ❤️

Meadowvale residents enjoyed a 1-2-1’s and a pamper session this morning having a blather whilst we painted nails and had a hand massage. We had lots of smiles and laughter.

In the afternoon we filled the conservatory with lots of laughter as we enjoyed Burns Gym, seated exercises from the men in kilts. We all enjoyed doing the exercise.
Later on a few residents watched “Witches” in the conservatory, their faces filled with smiles as they watched the film.

Meadowvale residents enjoyed a competitive game of dominos with friends this morning in the conservatory, the room filled with lots of laughter and conversation as the games were played. We also enjoyed a calming and relaxing 1-2-1 individual activities including domino’s, blathering and hobbies we enjoyed in the past.

In the afternoon a few residents enjoyed an energetic walk around the park, meeting some local dog walkers and pre school children along the way. Later on we enjoyed playing various board games and chatting about the “good old days”.

We finished the day relaxing watching tv in the lounge with friends.

Karaoke had everyone singing and dancing we also celebrated residents birthday with lots of joy.
Now both floors are relaxing with movies and popcorn the perfect end to a great day. ❤️

Some of our residents headed out for a gentle local walk enjoying the fresh air and having a good chat along the way.

Others stayed to join in on some target games which was a lot of fun. Then in the afternoon we had our knitting club come together to create nice pieces while sharing stories and listening to some variety of music.

Meadowvale residents had a busy morning taking part in a competitive quiz about Scottish football. After this we made truffles at the Baking club as the conservatory filled with smiles and lots of laughter as we got making truffles.

In the afternoon we did some individual activities including a local walk in between the rain showers, nail pamper and guess who games whilst other residents enjoyed watching a “carry on” film in the lounge. Later on we all tasted the truffles and enjoyed a cuppa.

Meadowvale residents enjoyed a morning filled with lots of laughter as residents played Snakes and ladders, High and lower cards and Football cards. This sparked fun memories of past board games we played in our younger days.
In the afternoon the ladies enjoyed knit and natter while the men enjoyed men’s club where they played table football and dominoes and we chatted about the World Cup.
The rooms filled with lots of laughter and smiles as we all got competitive.

Meadowvale residents had a busy day with the ladies from Sky who volunteered to help clean and plant in our front garden. Our residents joined to help getting plants planted in tubs, weeding and cleaning the block paving. Smiles, laughter and blathering filled the front garden as we made new fiends in the fresh air.

In the afternoon we had a residents meeting where our residents got to express what matters to them, from activities, meals they liked or dislikes to the environment they live in. Lots of thoughts and ideas flowed in the conservatory.

Celebrating the start of the World Cup in style 🎨⚽️. Residents got creative making flags, then we enjoyed some classic games -dominoes followed by bingo. Lots of laughs and great company
