This months only just started and there’s been many a revelation… behind these revelations there are also people actively moving these insights from thought into embodiment with themselves and their families and that - is priceless…..
The mindset shift is from ‘I can see what has been passed to me. I can see how it has shaped me. And I have the capacity to choose differently’
Then we put in place that this is not superiority. Its responsibility.
And I think this is where a lot of current language gets diluted. The term ‘cycle breaker’ That original insight can be powerful, but once it becomes a trend, people can emotionally attach themselves to the title rather than embodying what the title actually asks of them.
Because being the “cycle breaker” is not glamorous.
It can mean:
* being the first person to communicate differently
* being the first to set a boundary without punishment
* being the first to apologise
* being the first to question what the family has always accepted as normal
* being the first to choose tenderness instead of hardness
* being the first to become curious about why they react the way they do
And often nobody applauds you for it. Being the cycle breaker was never about being chosen above everyone else.
It’s about recognising that you had the capacity (all along) to choose differently.
Reward: that work then becomes legacy when the change no longer lives only inside you. It begins changing how you love, communicate, parent, partner, lead and relate — and therefore changes what other people inherit from being close to you.
And as I said - that’s priceless and that’s purpose / legacy…. Our human capacity to be the difference that makes the difference
With Love
