Exciting things are on the menu at Queens Lodge! 🍽️
We’re delighted to be introducing apetito into our homes, starting with Queens Lodge in Blackburn.
So, what is apetito? They’re a specialist catering partner providing nutritious, delicious meals to care homes, schools and hospitals, with an extensive menu designed to cater for a wide range of tastes and dietary needs.
And we have to say… it’s delicious!
It’s about much more than the food, too. apetito provides our team with full training on preparing and presenting each dish, helping us make mealtimes an enjoyable experience that our residents can really look forward to.
One of the things we’re most excited about is the range of IDDSI-compliant meals available for residents who experience swallowing difficulties and require texture-modified diets.
This means residents can continue to enjoy familiar favourites that not only taste great, but look like the meals they know and love. Fish and chips that look and taste like fish and chips, as well as curries, pasta dishes and even bacon sandwiches! 🍛🍝🥓
Because whatever your dietary needs, mealtimes should be safe, enjoyable and full of flavour.
