This afternoon our residents enjoyed a fun vegetable tasting session! 🍅🥒🌽

There were lots of different vegetables to try, with plenty of tasting, guessing and sharing opinions along the way. Some were firm favourites, while others certainly got a few interesting reactions! 😂

Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of Bingo, with plenty of excitement, laughter and a little bit of friendly competition! 🥳🎱

There were lots of eyes on the numbers and ears listening carefully for that all-important call of “BINGO!” 👀🔢

A lovely afternoon spent together, enjoying some good company, plenty of smiles and, of course, hoping for a lucky win! 💕👏

We’re delighted to be hosting our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning at the care home! 🌟

📅 Friday 25th September 2026
⏰ 10:00am – 12:00pm

Come along and join our residents, families, friends and staff for a lovely morning of tea, coffee, cake and good company, while raising money for a wonderful cause. 🎂☕💚

Every cuppa and every donation will help support people living with cancer and their families.

Our Men’s Club got stuck into some spooky creativity today, painting Halloween sun catchers to make some fantastic decorations for the home! 🖌️🕷️

There was plenty of concentration, creativity It was great to see everyone getting involved and putting their own personal touch on their spooky creations. 🎨👏

🐾🦁 A Day Out to Ponderosa Zoo! 🦁🐾

Today, a couple of our residents enjoyed a lovely day out to Ponderosa Zoo! 🌿🐒 There were plenty of animals to see, lots of fresh air and plenty of smiles along the way. 😊

After exploring the zoo, we headed off to a lovely café for a well-deserved lunch and a cuppa ☕🥪.
It was a wonderful opportunity to get out and about, enjoy a change of scenery and make some lovely memories together. ❤️

🎨🌈 Arts & Crafts Afternoon! 🌈🎨
Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon of colour, creativity and conversation, getting stuck into some colourful colouring and mosaic-style artwork. 🖍️✨

Using colourful tissue paper and felt-tip pens, everyone created their own beautiful mosaic-style window pictures, carefully choosing their colours and arranging each piece to bring their designs to life. 🪟🌸🦋

It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, get creative and enjoy some quality time together. Activities like this are also a great way to encourage fine motor skills, concentration, hand-eye coordination and self-expression. 💜

There were some fantastic creations, lots of smiles and plenty of proud faces — and our windows are certainly looking much more colourful! 🌈😊

💜🌿 A Little Bit of Lavender Magic! 🌿💜
Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon getting creative and making their very own lavender bags! 🪻✨

Everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite fabrics, carefully filling their bags with beautiful, fragrant lavender and adding their own special finishing touches. 🧵✂️

It was a wonderful activity for encouraging fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creativity, while also providing a relaxing sensory experience through the soothing scent of lavender. 💜🌿

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and lots of lovely conversations along the way — not to mention a few very proud residents showing off their beautiful creations! 😊🌸

A relaxing afternoon filled with creativity, friendship and a little bit of lavender magic. 💜✨

What better way to spend a Monday afternoon than with good company, lots of laughter and a cheeky tipple! 🥂😄

Our residents enjoyed a lovely social afternoon together, relaxing with a refreshing drink before putting their thinking caps on for a fun and entertaining quiz. 🧠✨

There were some fantastic answers, plenty of giggles and, of course, a little friendly competition along the way! 😄🏆

It was wonderful to see everyone chatting, reminiscing and enjoying each other’s company. ❤️

☁️🎨 Hoodles & Noodles! 🥢☁️

A little creativity, a little concentration, and lots of fun with our residents this morning! 💙😊

Using chopsticks, our residents carefully picked up strands of cotton and placed them into cups. This simple but engaging activity was a wonderful way to encourage fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, dexterity, concentration and gentle movement. 🥢✨

But it wasn’t just about the activity — it was about spending time together, having a chat, sharing some laughter and enjoying that lovely sense of achievement when the task was completed. 🥰

It’s often the simplest activities that create the biggest smiles! 💙
