Every tarot tradition has its own structure, history, and reasoning. When we mix interpretations without understanding where they come from, we risk losing the meaning behind the symbols.

In this video, I explain why learning each system on its own terms allows us to compare them properly, recognise their differences, and become more discerning readers.

**The Fives in Tarot: Why Must We Experience Loss?**

Strife. Grief. Bitter victories. Being left out in the cold.

Every Five in the tarot seems to describe some kind of hardship. But what if these four cards are revealing something much deeper about the human experience?

In Kabbalah, the Fives occupy the fifth station of the Tree of Life: **Gevurah, the principle of Severity.**

It's the power to establish boundaries, defend what matters, and recognise when something must be released.

In the Fours, we explored what happens when we finally receive what we've worked for. The Fives ask a harder question: **What happens when we cannot keep everything?**

Through the Five of Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles, we discover how this principle operates in our ambitions, emotions, relationships, and material lives.

And perhaps the most important lesson is this:

**Some boundaries protect us. Others become prisons.**

The question is whether we can recognise the difference.

Have you ever finally received something you prayed for, only to become terrified of losing it?

There's a strange paradox in manifestation. We spend so much time trying to believe, visualise, and attract something that when it finally arrives, we forget how to receive it.

After my recent video about the Fours in tarot, your comments reminded me of something important.

The Four of Pentacles shows us what happens when we cling too tightly to security. The Four of Cups reveals how easily we overlook blessings already being offered.

Both contain a profound spiritual lesson.

When we constantly fear losing what we've received, we can unintentionally close ourselves off to further abundance.

The Divine doesn't punish us for being afraid. But fear changes how we act, what we recognise, and what we're willing to receive.

Manifestation is as much about gratitude and trust as it is about desire.

THE FOURS IN TAROT | What Happens After You Get What You Want?

You've worked hard to build something. A relationship, a career, a sense of security. But what happens once you've achieved it?

The four Fours in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot reveal four different responses to stability.

Four of Wands: Celebrate what you've accomplished.

Four of Cups: Become so accustomed to what you have that you stop seeing what's being offered.

Four of Swords: Recognise when it's time to rest.

Four of Pentacles: Hold so tightly to security that it becomes a prison.

In Kabbalah, all four cards correspond to Chesed, the fourth sefirah on the Tree of Life, associated with mercy and abundance.

The lesson? Sometimes the greatest challenge isn't building something. It's learning what to do once you've built it.

The Three of Wands shows a calling becoming a mission.

The Three of Cups shows emotion becoming shared experience.

The Three of Swords reveals how understanding can sometimes be painful.

And the Three of Pentacles shows an idea becoming something tangible.

Four cards. Four worlds. One underlying principle.

The Four Twos in tarot aren't four unrelated cards, but four expressions of the same spiritual principle?

In the Tree of Life, the number Two corresponds to Chokhmah, meaning Wisdom, the first dynamic expression of potential. Where the Aces represent beginnings in their purest state, the Twos reveal what happens when that potential first begins to move.

And because each suit operates within one of the Four Worlds, that movement takes four different forms.

Four different images. Four different worlds. One underlying principle.

In this latest lesson, we explore how Lucian Kabbalah reveals the hidden architecture connecting these cards and why understanding their position on the Tree of Life can transform the way you read tarot.
