Hi everyone! 👋

I have an important update for you. As the founder of Deep Knead Soft Tissue Therapy, I’m so grateful for the opportunity has given me at the West Buttwick Clinic. However sometimes life has a slightly different plan and I wanted to let you know that I will be starting Wednesdays at my Bawtry Clinic in Doncaster as of the 22nd of April, alongside Tuesdays and Fridays.

Sometimes that “tight” feeling isn’t a muscle that needs more stretching at all 🤍

As a soft tissue therapist, I see this every day: you stretch and stretch 🧘‍♀️ but the tension keeps coming back.

Often the real issue is fascia — the connective tissue that wraps around muscles, nerves, and joints 🕸️. When fascia becomes dehydrated, restricted, or overloaded, it can feel like muscle tightness, even when the muscle itself isn’t short.

That’s why more stretching doesn’t always help 🚫➡️🤸‍♂️. Fascia responds better to slow, targeted pressure 🤲, mindful movement 🚶‍♀️, hydration 💧, and calming the nervous system 🌿. When we address the fascial layer, the body often finds length and ease on its own ✨
