📸 World Photography Day at Antonine House Care Home 📸

There was plenty of fun and creativity at Antonine House Care Home as residents celebrated World Photography Day with a dressing-up and photography session.

Residents enjoyed choosing different outfits and props for their photos while listening to music, singing along to favourite songs, and sharing lots of laughter throughout the day 🎵

The celebrations brought everyone together, with Minister Roddy from New Kilpatrick Church, family members, colleagues, and our nursing team all joining in and helping to make the occasion extra special.

It was a lovely day filled with music, conversation, creativity, and plenty of photo opportunities, resulting in some fantastic snapshots and enjoyable moments shared together.

🎶A Lovely Morning at SingSong🎶

Residents Anne, Liz, Ann and June enjoyed a wonderful visit to SingSong at New Kilpatrick Church, spending time with the local community and joining in with a fantastic selection of familiar songs.

There was plenty of singing, conversation, and good company throughout the session, with residents enjoying the opportunity to get involved and catch up with others in a warm and welcoming atmosphere 😊

Community outings like these are always enjoyed, bringing people together through shared interests and familiar melodies. It was a lovely morning filled with music, friendship, and connection.

A big thank you to everyone at New Kilpatrick Church for making our residents feel so welcome. We look forward to the next visit!

Raise a glass to good company and great conversation 🥂

Residents at Antonine House marked National Prosecco Day with a lovely high tea party, bringing everyone together to enjoy an afternoon of treats, chats and a celebratory glass of Prosecco.

It was a simple but special occasion, with residents gathering to spend time together and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Moments like these are a great way to connect, catch up and make the most of everyday life at the home.

Bird Bingo in the Garden 🐦🌿

Residents enjoyed spending time in the garden taking part in a game of Bird Bingo, searching for hidden birds and ticking them off their sheets as they were found.

As they explored, songs filled the garden too, with residents singing together while keeping an eye out for their next discovery.

Activities like these are a lovely way to enjoy the outdoor space, share conversations and spend time together in the fresh air.

🌊🧺🍦 A Wonderful Day Out for Our Residents! 🍦🧺🌊

Residents Mima, Anne, Liz and Patricia enjoyed a lovely day trip to Duck Bay Marina, where they tucked into a delicious picnic lunch while taking in the beautiful views by the water. ☀️

The fun continued with a visit to Balloch Park, where they stopped by Ainsley, our Activity Coordinator's dad's ice cream van for a tasty treat. Residents enjoyed watching the ducks glide across the water and the boats sail by, making for a truly relaxing afternoon. 🦆⛵

On the journey back home, there was one final special stop to visit some horses, which brought plenty of smiles and admiration from everyone.

Days like these are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, create cherished memories, and spend quality time together. 💛

Whether it's a friendly chat, a shared activity, or simply enjoying each other's company, friendships play such an important role in creating a warm and welcoming community 🌟

☀️ A Wonderful Afternoon at Kelvinside Manor Care Home's Summer Fête ☀️

Residents Anne, Liz, and Lillian enjoyed a fantastic day out attending the beach-themed Summer Fête at Kelvinside Manor Care Home 🌊🍦

The ladies had a wonderful time taking in the entertainment, browsing the various stalls, and soaking up the fun atmosphere of the event 😊✨

The highlight of the day, however, was catching up with their friends Laura and Irene from Kelvinside Manor. It was lovely to see everyone reminiscing, sharing stories, and enjoying each other's company once again ❤️

Days like these are all about friendship, community connections, and creating special memories together, and this outing certainly delivered all three!

A huge thank you to Kelvinside Manor for their warm welcome and for hosting such a fantastic event 🏖️💙

🎶☕ SingSong Group Visit for Antonine House Care Home ☕🎶

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the New Kilpatrick Parish Church Hall to attend the popular SingSong Group!

Residents spent the morning singing along to familiar favourites, enjoying delicious snacks and coffee, and catching up with members of the local community ❤️😊

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to socialise, share memories through music, and enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was wonderful to see everyone joining in and making the most of such a lovely community gathering 🎶☕

A special thank you to guest organist Chris Nickol, whose musical contribution helped make the occasion even more enjoyable
