Blake House Surgery is a rural NHS GP practice, looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly receptionist/administrator to join our busy team.

Previous administration & customer service experience in an admin/clerical role is essential.

Must have strong IT skills, like working in a team environment and flexible to cover any holiday and sickness.

Driving licence & own transport is essential due to location.

Hours: 24 to be worked Monday Wednesday and Friday.

Salary: Dependant on experience.

NHS pension scheme.

This is for people over 75 years of age or those who are immunosuppressed.

It is with regret that as from today 21/04/2026 Blake house surgery will no longer be offering appointments for ear syringing.
Debbie at Holsworthy foot clinic has agreed to offer ear micro suction for any of our patients, appointments can be booked by calling 01409 259093

Blake house surgery will close at 13:00 for the afternoon this Wednesday (11th February) due to staff training.
Please call 111 for medical assistance or 999 in the case of an emergency

On Thursday 15th January we are having building work carried out in the reception area meaning that the waiting room and reception will not be accessible.
Please report to the large window facing the carpark for any appointments where instructions will be given of were to wait, prescriptions can be collected from the same window, this disruption is only thought to last for Thursday and we apologise for any inconvenience
